NCAA FOOTBALL 2024 MEGA THREAD - WELCOME TO THE PLAYOFF ERA
Just 8 days until Florida State plays Georgia Tech!
A lot happened while you were away:
Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC
The Pac-12 went out in a blaze of glory:
Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA are headed to the B1G
Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado are headed to the B12
Cal and Stanford along with SMU are somehow headed to the ACC
Poor old Wazzu and Oregon State are now aligned with the MWC in some sort of in-flux relationship
The conferences are huge now, and the schedules are wildly imbalanced. Florida might have the hardest schedule in the history of the sport, while Missouri's playing a sun-belt slate.
FSU and Clemson play each other, but then play ZERO common ACC opponents
Utah/Baylor and Arizona/Kansas State play non-conference games against conference opponents
LSU and USC play in Vegas!
Boise goes to Oregon, a team they've never lost to!
Texas at Michigan!
Alabama at Wisconsin!
Notre Dame at ATM!
Clemson vs Georgia!
And there are some incredibly juicy new conference matchups:
Texas @ ATM is back!
Texas vs Georgia
Oregon vs Ohio State
USC @ Michigan
USC vs Penn State
And then the bizarre:
UCLA @ Rutgers is now a conference game
Syracuse plays home and away against Cal and Stanford for some reason
Half the teams have new coaches, transferred quarterbacks, or both!
Let's get it on!
UTEP is -6 hosting Southern Utah. That's spot-on with Sagarin but given UTEP is Austin Peay coaches and portals, I'm going with them having decent reads on a good FCS team.
Allar makes some really terrible decisions.
Just 6 more field goals and Michigan will tie it up!
Seems like the most trivial personal foul call against a team I've ever seen and refs miss it
What was Michigan defense there? Lol
On the INT I'd have to go back and watch what backside routes there were but front side he threw right into the hook player which is essentially the most No-No throw you can have against 3. Either you want your hook route to carry that LB and run behind him under the mid safety or attack the flat on the backside if they are pushing to your strength.
Just such a stark difference between an offensive coaching staff that knows what the **** they're doing and one that doesn't.
K State touchdown on 4th and 1, tied up at Tulane
Hook 'em!
just able to sit down and turn on the boob tube
what a bloodbath in Ann Arbor
Arkansas is desperately trying to give this game away
If you want to see a real game between two powerhouses, turn on Bowling Green and Penn State.
CBS goes from having blockbuster SEC match-ups for years at the 15:30 time slot to... Iowa St. vs Iowa?
lol
smh
GT gets an onside kick!
the fact that OK State is winning this game right now is absolutely wild
WE DID IT!!!
Suck it under bettors.
Isn't the existence of video of that Bowman shooting celebration punishment enough?
lol dumbass poke qb
ok state arkansas is such a cluster****
this is hilarious
this fkn poke pig game man
Wild stuff.
lol if that ARK WR caught that pass
