The next presidential race will be here soon! Please see current Bovada odds. Thoughts?
This causes inflation which causes the fed to increase rates more than in the counterfactual, putting more people in unemployment than the counterfactual.
This causes people with low means to have worse access to healthcare than in the counterfactual, making them more propense to vote democrat for welfare.
This was intentional

This is pure tin foil hat stuff.
Obviously the theory that this was done intentionally in order to benefit the Democratic party.
That wasn't the only claim, the inflationary side doesn't benefit democrats at all.
Theory isn't it was done TO INCREASE INFLATION (or to push people I to democrats hand because healthcare is unaffordable) as the reason. Claim was it was intentional (obviously just because physicians thought they gained from it, and politics allowed it to happen), and it had that effect.

If you intended to argue what you wrote above, then you probably shouldn't use these words in this order:
This causes people with low means to have worse access to healthcare than in the counterfactual, making them more propense to vote democrat for welfare.

Just ban guns, and ammo. Guns rust, stop being concerned with how many guns there are right now, it will naturally atrophy over time.
i realize you're probably trolling, but a well maintained and stored firearm can last centuries and still be functional - there's also a massive industry of gunsmiths who repair and restore old guns
what is? that residency slots were capped on purpose? or the causal effects that stemmed from that choice?
residency slots are capped by the AMA under the guise of quality control and "if we have more doctors than demand for doctors we're going to start finding a lot of them practicing in illegal and unregulated backalley clinics"
the real reason for the caps are to maintain the stupendous earnings doctors partake in
however, their reasons for the cap are real, look at law where there's far more lawyers than demand - and most never practice law or are scraping by and resort to a better call saul type roll because that's the only way for them to ply their trade

can we agree that the supply of x should never be regulated by force of law by the providers of x?
the law should completely disregard AMA decision making and physician's opinions in general when deciding who can become a physician

agree wholeheartedly
fwiw i don't think the AMA has direct oversight into capping it but they do have the influence to ensure the caps are to their liking
when i finished undergrad i was living in LA with some med students from USC, they hated the AMA and would regularly attend various student led meetings talking about how terrible an organization it was
remember once an AMA rep agreed to meet with their club and the guy repeatedly stressed that what they were doing was not only ensuring the continued existence of high quality healthcare in america, but that without these restrictions, they'd never be able to pay off their student loans because they'd be earning 70k a year as opposed to 300 - those kids say it was a very persuasive argument to someone who had 6 figure debt, would not be earning any income for another 2 years or so and was now told "and in 5 years time you'll be financially set for life if you just go along with all this"

Well when inflation was way up , corporations was hiring massively and workers were missing all over .
Maybe what u point at is just an outlier .
Not surprise hereafter u try make a link with democrats plans or w.e negative you try to push ….
Unemployment rate start pushing higher end 2023 .
When inflation was going much lower .
roc, do you think if they had law school caps as well then perhaps you'd have one day done an honest day's work?
Trump hired an expert to help him prove fraud... didn't go so well.
AZ election official responds to Trump's ominous warning
Rococo has a job? I thought he was a trust fund kid who cosplays as a lawyer on the internet.
exactly, but if there were law degree caps he either couldn't live that fantasy by not getting accepted into one in the first place or if he did still squeeze through the cracks then he'd perhaps be compelled to actually do some high demand lawyering
But wouldn’t capping students prevent lot of students debt creation in many unprofitable fields :p
i realize you're probably trolling, but a well maintained and stored firearm can last centuries and still be functional - there's also a massive industry of gunsmiths who repair and restore old guns
And how many people will properly store guns? Gunsmiths can be regulated etc etc. So easy to actually fix, no apparent will to do so in America.
Kamala Harris won the debate!!! It wasn't even close. Wow. Errr I mean Kamala Harris won the June 27, 2024 debate between Jot Biden and Donald Trump on CNN.
