THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reach-around schedule, its time for a new thread.

I wonder if the money will put people off at all. 54 million for Scheffler this year? Fairly obscene ... the society that promotes that, not the golf.

He earned it fair and square. Not like someone thought he was worth that and signed him to a contract. He beat his fellow competitors who were playing for the same purses.

No ones saying he never earned its. Its just a staggering amount of cash .
I saw that his Caddy earned more this year than Jack's lifetime earnings on the PGA
Why would anyone care how much money an athlete makes?
Because we could have a more equitable and reasonable society? Maybe something like that. The point obviously was not against Scheffler, it was against the value system that produces that kind of skewed reward. Why not 60 BILLION? He beat the other players.
corporate sponsors and advertising dollars
boycott watching or purchases and the purses will go down

None of that has anything to do with me. I could care less.
As long as I can watch the 4 majors every year and be entertained, I'm happy.
Lol at thinking the number one golfer on the planet shouldn't be making crazy amounts of cash.
what it must feel like to be an International player and turn up every two years simply to get boat raced by the juggernaut that is USA#1 golf
it feels like a funeral at Royal Montreal and the first session isn't even over
I still don't understand why this always happens in the Presidents Cup, and then the exact opposite always happens in the Ryder Cup?
USA#1 Golf -2150 to win this morning
well well well
hard to believe Furyk sat Keegan today
Si Woo Kim w the Curry 'puts them to sleep'
incredible television
sux we didn't get a SS v Kim singles match
I'd love to play Royal Montreal course. Looked pretty nice and the greens looked super tricky.
PGA first stop in Utah I do believe this weekend at Black Desert in St George, Utah .
Played the neighboring course a long time ago were the back nine is carved out of lava fields absolutely stunning
