2024 NFL Regular Season: g-bebe’s Lamar attempts to slay Dom’s Josh for title of mafia boss
You know, since the Super Bowl periodically i will watch the CBS Sinatra intro cuz it was ****ing magnificent. Halfway t
CIN about to get gashed by Pacheco and Co. even more this drive and drives thereafter
Just like that.
Justin Fields is in sole possession of 1st place in the AFCN
Pretty unbelievable. Could have gotten some nice odds on Steelers leading the division at 2-0 and Ravens/Bengals both 0-2.
Ravens could legit start 0-5. Losing that one is a huge gut punch considering how tough the schedule is.
Suzzer seems like a decent chap but **** the god damned chefs
hubris is a helluva drug
They could really use Reddick, dont know what the problem is. Maybe he wants too many years guaranteed.
8 mill lost? I think he makes 15, so after 2 weeks it shouldnt be that much. But I guess that is where bonus comes in, no doubt Adam Schefter figured it out. Huge money down the drain.
Reddick knows the Jets actually suck. They got lucky to win today.
like all "insiders" schefter is a smarmy ********** who shills for the league/team management 99% of the time, so it actually wouldn't surprise me at all if he's wrong on the numbers there
Saw a report (not sure how accurate) that Tua doesn't plan on retiring.
Saw the same. Seems accurate
It’s a rough scene. Hard to walk away from this contract when football is all you have. Gonna be heartbreaking and predictable when Tua has some CTE related tragedy before 45
Bears are awful to watch with Caleb from the 1.8games to date Poor line, dreadfully conservative play calling, receivers not getting open etc
I’ve been bearish (ha) on Caleb since last year with USC and nothing he did led me to believe he’s the guy you bet the farm on
Everything I’ve seen from him so far basically confirms that. The 4th down pass to nothing pretty much shows he’s lapsing hard on general intelligence
just wasting time on the QB stats table and it struck me....by my reckoning, 16 of the 33 QBs who started a game this season are black/African American. (1 game each to Love and Willis for GB). And then 16 caucasian and 1 Pacific Islander.
surely the most diverse group of starting QBs in the NFL ever?
Is it just me or is it severe coaching malpractice not to have a backup that can at least kick extra points at like an 80% rate.
These are all elite athletes. I refuse to believe that you couldn't get the punter of every team (or anyone else really) to that point with like a half hour of practice a day for a few months. Then maybe less for maintenance of the skill.

I think he's got it and he's gonna be really good. But he's got a way to go and it's gonna take a while and ....particularly if his line doesn't improve

yes, I would think so too.
Most surprising 2-0 team....1 Saints, 2 Vikings, 3 Bucs
Most surprising 0-2 team....1 Ravens, 2 Bengals
Saints and Vikings is really close as they've both played 1 bad and 1 good team so far, but @Cowboys slightly tougher than home 9ers

Agree on Ravens after losing to the lolRaiders, but the Bengals shouldn't surprise anyone.
Burrow has started 0-2 in 4 out of his 5 seasons.
Tua, Dak, and Trevor not living up to their contracts so far. If that keeps up I wonder if it will have an effect on how teams pay QBs who haven't done anything in the future.
^^^ you left out Kirk Cousins
Dak is clearly in a different category than Tua and Trevor. Both clearly more accomplished, but also at his potential and with a different argument as to 'why not', given the number of years they'd seen already. Albeit I would still have paid him if I was the Cowboys
of the three of them, paying Trevor was the no brainer IMO. The most upside and the most excuses as to why it hasn't happened yet. Tua the lowest ceiling and also the best situation, not just the skill positions but also the best coach - if there was a guy not to pay, it was him
