Person B: Dad pays the bills, at least for a few years while you take a crack at it. Work full time on getting better at comedy, networking, etc. Never miss an audition or gig due to conflicts. etc.
My eldest daughter is an actor/model, been in several plays and small parts in a couple of TV shows as well as some print ads and wants to study drama in college..... yeah unless your parents are famous actors or at the least can fly you out for auditions and small parts you'll be lucky to break on I don't see how you can get started in it.
