It is just their predetermined bot mail.

It is just their predetermined bot mail.

Is this the initial email? Or is this what they send you whenever you try to email them? If so, that's ridiculous, and I'm not sure how you'd get through that brick wall without knowing somebody at ACR.

Could be the case, but it's very much in their best interest to listen to feedback from their own customer base. Hopefully they have some sense about them.

This network has spent the better part of their existence ignoring customer feedback. The irony of innocent players being wrapped up in temporary or permanent bans due attempted RTA/bot detection is from continued customer feedback of the overall RTA/bot problem on the network.

The issue isn't customer feedback regarding bots though. Players should be complaining about bots and cheaters. And it appears that WPN is actually listening to them. The problem right now is that they have a bunch of braindead morons running their game integrity department, who are incapable of performing what should be fairly rudimentary analysis given the data they should have on hand.

Right, I never said players shouldn't be complaining about those things. I'm just saying they aren't going to change the way they're doing things simply because you send an email complaining about the fact you got temp banned with no wrongdoing. It took them long enough to do anything about cheating in the first place.

With that said, it's better than no one getting banned for cheating at all. But I do feel terrible for players like angelar, if they're truly innocent, for being perma banned. At least you got your account back.

Just another negative externality of an unregulated market.

Agreed. Angelar getting banned (assuming he's innocent) is unfortunate but really should be avoidable. How hard can it be to prove he's not a bot? Iirc he had several high stakes players look into his case and presumably they vouched for him. Nobody itt recently from what I can see has been permanently banned, so it's odd.

That is always their answer, btw you can see me run my bot/RTA every day at high stakes in sites known for their famous soft security like stars under TanNKkzZ nickname xD.

How did you get from permanently banned to unbanned? I really want that :/

Lol yeah its nice to know its possible to unban yourself. They should add an "unban me" button in the account info page. Like self checkout at the grocery store 😀.

I think the support has improved in recent years, until 1 2 years ago it was very slow in responding, it was normal to wait 24 hours, 36 hours, even 48 hours. and then there were those from support who answered you and understood your problem and your question and who didn't and so you had to rewrite and wait hoping that the person who answered you was one of those who understood.
today they are much quicker to respond (a few hours) and then also here in recent years, they are very active on social media: fb and x above all.
so everyone knows they exist and if something is wrong someone can report it.

I remain of the opinion that 24/7 live chat with a real person should be in all poker rooms (N8 has it) it's 2024, we do everything flights, pay, documents etc. with whatsapp telegram messenger, we are all used to receiving responses within a minute instead of writing an email waiting hours for a response. it's something from the past.
24/7 live chat is the best solution also because I imagine +50% of emails are about dubious and confirmations, as far as bonuses things like that in live chat you get an immediate response instead of hours of waiting with emails and you already knew what the right answer was but you just wanted an official confirmation 😃

I have full access to my account again. No information or explanation. 6 days after i got "permanently banned" and "the decision to ban me is final and can’t be appealed."

I assume that the intention was to separate cheaters from real players. Obv cheaters know they are cheating so they won't fight for their accounts but real players will. However, such treatment is unacceptable to me and my first reaction is to withdraw all funds. I don't feel comfortable knowing that I can get banned again at any time without any reason or explanation.

Thanks for the update, and glad to hear you got unbanned. If I were you I'd write them an email about this process. They may not listen to one person, but if it's multiple people complaining about the process then perhaps they will change the way they do these checks.

At this point with crypto, there is no reason to keep any more funds in your account than necessary. You could potentially load/unload per session, depending on the volume.

I have a Ledger hardware wallet and keep USDT on there. I use that to transfer back and forth when I want to play. It's seamless and quick.

I use exodus to transfer back and forth via Bitcoin, but didn't think about usdt. I like the idea of only keeping a few buyins on the site. I wonder what the fees are for transferring are

WPN uses the ERC-20 network for processing UDST, so fees will be based on volume for that network. If sending in USDT, make sure it's on ERC. But they shouldn't be much different from BTC at any given point.

You could also hold in USDT, swap to BTC, and then send back and forth to the poker network in BTC. With that said, I prefer Litecoin if sending in actual crypto. Fees are nonexistent on their chain.

Update:

I did receive what I would consider to be a fairly genuine apology from WPN regarding how this was handled. Whether or not they actually do something about it is another story. But the more people who voice their discontent at this process, the more likely it is we can avoid this debacle in the future.

In my case, I withdrew nearly all of my funds and I'm sure that they got to see that before replying to me.

Following my audit process, I submitted a lengthy email to them voicing my discontent. I was provided two $65 tournament entries for the inconvenience of the audit. Just want to make sure the good stuff gets highlighted along with the bad.

It at least shows that WPN actually does listen to players. Definitely a +EV play for them here to provide these comps.

I saw a 11$ pko with 29 entries 20 were russian, kazak, azer and ukrainian accounts, how legit are these mtts?

Angelar, have you considered sending them an email via a different email address? Grasping at straws here but that's all i can think of

I am gonna get same answer, I do not know why but It looks like I will not be unbanned.

When you initially contacted MTTDBReview to help you, I assume this would consist of proving that you werent botting. Was he successful in doing that?

This is a good topic of discussion. As a MTT reg myself, I’ve never delved into this so everything I’m saying is opinion based. I never start MTTs as I only do LR when it’s under 2 hours left.

The question is are they bots?
—- IMO I think half of them are.

Owned by whom?
—-My guess would be that they are house bots. The reason for this being I don’t think there’s enough players that want to start a 5 hour LR tournament. It doesn’t make any sense to do so. Let’s compare Ignition, there’s a bunch of MTTs that don’t even fire. There’s not enough players willing to start them. When you play on Ignition, how many player #s 1-20 do you see going deep? Pretty rare I’d say. They either bust out during LR or and reenter or don’t. (We don’t know if they reenter)

I’d say a good starting test here would be to see how many of these starting players reenter or not. If they are not reentering I would lean even more towards being a House bot. Sharkscopeing them too would also help and see if there’s any similarities in graphs/stats.

It's a PKO. Re-entering/late registering a PKO is brain-dead stupid.

they just added a separate tab for high stakes...weird. at first i thought they got rid of all stakes above $5/$10 until i saw that added tab.

did they remove high stakes? My cash lobby only goes up to 5/10... wtf?!?!
