RIP Drake Maye

What are your guys' thoughts on this weeks waiver pick ups? Anyone reliable or just fools gold out there?

Honestly this year, so far most of the top waiver names haven't been much to write home about. These hot names like Likely, Wicks, and Steele have been forgettable. JK Dobbins has been the best pickup so far. Hunt is doing well, but does that change when CEH comes back?

This week Bigsby is the guy I am eyeing the most. I have a team with Etienne, so having Bigsby is insurance there incase the roles change or there is injury.

I drafted alot of Mooney in best ball and he has been producing. I remember him being a big play downfield guy on the Bears. But I'm not sure if he can be a reliable every week guy in redraft. The only way that would happen is if the Falcons completely turn to a throwing offense.

With the Nico injury and JJ bye I'm starting Amari and Kirk in a league this week. I'd probably feel better with Mooney over either of those guys. Seems like a solid WR3/first man up type guy to have this year as long as Drake stays healthy.

Tank, Tolbert, Juju, Chandler are probably some of the top guys this week. I still much prefer wicks to all of them despite the disappointing box score last week and the drops are scary for sure

I would have the first 3 I listed in a tier above chandler

Why do you need a 2nd te? You have Bowers

depth at the position

i'm backing off now because i see GB and LV have the same bye week

Tucket Kraft is the TE3

I got him on waivers last year when Musgrave was hurt. Benches were deep enough to dart through. But have you see him in interviews? Dude is like the cross between a Navy Seal and the biggest football aura you'll see. I dunno, in dynasty I'd probably overpay for him if you can (relative to his current price). How many TEs block as well as he does, and have that after the catch ability? He seems like the kind of guy a coach will put out there every snap, and call his number a lot. And Love seems ready to just pepper him.

In the TE landscape, Kraft is probably a decent weekly play, but he's also running hot. 9 targets two weeks ago in a game GB was down 4 scores. 5 targets this past week with 2 scores and one being 66 yards. Doubs and Watson also out. But you can definitely do way worse than him.

I had him on two dynasty rosters before the season started and dropped him in both spots due to space issues. Bleh. I didn't think Musgrave was great, but I figured it'd be some type of split and neither would be that playable. Kraft has taken the job.

Musgrave was the worst pick in the the draft knowing you could get Kraft in the last round.

You don't give him enough credit - he also waited until Tank Bigsby put up 129-2 to anoint him a 'league winner'

I posted that Tank "might" be a league winner after new data came in. You're putting words into my mouth.

Just logged into Draft Kings to have a notice saying "Beginning on October 4th 2024, Draft Kings will no longer be offering Draftkings fantasy sports contests in Great Britain".

Any best ball contest are still ongoing at least and final withdrawal date is 03/06/25, unsure of that's March or June.

Oh well I'm a terrible fantasy drafter so will probably save me money in the long term but I really enjoy drafting best ball teams on the off season.

You're not missing much with DFS. It's mostly a scam unless you just play cash games and single entry small contests. It's a bummer though not being able to do best ball. Drafting is the best time of the year. I will only draft in time box contests. The DK Millie and BBM are a big scam. They lure you in with the possibility of winning millions when in reality you basically have no chance.

At TE in dynasty, I just care bout:

-Snap count
-Blocking Ability
-Run after catch
-Rapport with QB
-Does he have that dog in him? aka Pitts does not
-Size
-Investment by the team

He doesn't fail ONE of those. So if the concern is where he lands on "mouths to feed" list, in dynasty, we should not care. I'm saying he's definitely still undervalued there, as he's 23 years old (24 next month). Let that age sink in.

Nico goes from day-to-day to week-to-week to IR lol. My 8 man league team is in shambles. I drafted Nico, Rice, Achane, and Kupp. I also drafted Mahomes and Pitts, but being 8 man, I was able to dump them for Jayden and Bowers, at least. This team also has Breece.

Thinking of benching stroud this week with Nico out and don’t think he will need to throw much vs the patriots. Which of these guy on waivers do we like or stick with stroud:

Cousins @ panthers
Daniel jones vs bengals
Geno vs 49ers

Leaning cousins

I'd probably go with one of the other two. Cousins probably won't have to throw much, either. The Panthers run defense is god awful.

I think I like Jones with how bad the Bengals defense has been, plus Nabers coming back.

This year seems particularly brutal for skill position players. Thought I had executed a perfect 'hero RB draft' in 12 team PPR from the 7 slot but my team is on life support after 5 weeks.

Hall, MHj, Collins, Rice, Kincaid, then 6 consecutive RB picks.

Impossible to replicate WR1 numbers from guys off waivers in a deep 12 man and I consider myself lucky to have secured such *studs* as JuJu, Doubs, Tolbert, and Tre Tucker. Gonna be a long season.....

I picked up Kraft as LaPorta had a bye last week, saved me lol

But now I have to decide which one to start this week

I’m closing on a condo today and I got the Nico alert on my phone while on the call with my lawyer and said “god ****ing damnit” and she was so confused she thought something was wrong with the paper work

Lmao. That's hilarious. You should have said you can't afford the condo anymore after the Nico injury.

should I offer Godwin for collins? full ppr

we're both 3-2(8 way tie for first lol)

he probably needs it more than I do, but as of right now, I'd be a dog in the playoffs(if I get there)

What's your overall depth look like? If you think can withstand Nico's absence, I'd probably go for it. But prepare for Nico to possibly be out for more than the 4 week IR minimum. I think I'd prepare for worst case of 8 weeks.

Well, that's not a good sign. Tomorrow is 2 weeks.

Maybe with Nico out, Dell will do something.

Where about do you have kraft ranked amoung TEs in dynasty? On KTC I'm seeing him at 9 and fantpros he's at 16.
