Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Or an even better comparison, which lifestyle would you rather have? Someone making 200k and spending 198k or someone making 50k and spending 48k. Cause according the Diesel, both lifestyles are the same since they both net 2k a year.

LOL

by Langdon k

no I am not a miserable person. I enjoy my life, and my 9-5 job allows to support a family and play poker recreationally for fun, have a garden, a dog, be a contributing member of my community, etc.

According to Rice, you must be incredibly wealthy. Only the fabulously rich could afford to have a proper bankroll to play poker recreationally AND own things like new cars and houses.

Our favorite Aussie American female player went on HCL to couple weeks ago.

she was the nittiest player amidst a table of loud spewers, didn't see a single mis-play by Jenny. did make a really nice $4000 bluff. came out as a huge winner

I think you meant **because**

look up the spelling in the dictionary.

/Diesel wins another argument

Majority of people like Diesel are unemployed and living in their parents basement and act like they're too good for minimum wage jobs but not too good to mooch off their parents and their friends.

If you ask them, they're at home and are actually the ones taking care of their elderly parents when their true grift is they have their eyes on inheritance while letting their elderly mom do all their cooking and cleaning and laundry and are generally just scumbags.

I wonder who is currently living with their parents and saying they are taking care of their parents?

In that way, Diesel is doing well. But his comparison is amongst basement dwelling loser types.

I could earn $2000 and spend that $2000 on a vacation to France or I could earn $100, spend $80 on gas for a road trip where I don't play poker or do anything remarkable, and eat a gas station prepackaged sandwich.

ELD would choose the latter and think he's winning at life

It's obviously him coping, who wants to face the reality that they're a failure in life and a massive loser?

I don't blame him for being the way he is.

his arrogant belligerence is the issue, along with his complete unwillingness to improve or adapt.

please don't give him any more clicks. his ego is not worth supporting

Golden Nugget Lake Charles, Louisiana
When Rice said 'I played, not for crazy long', that means he sat at the table, folded for two or three orbits, then racked up, and headed out the door.

When Rice sees his 'big blind' getting straddled on, he knows it's time to rack up, call it a day.

A poker game with action and straddles is a nightmare scenario for Rice.

yes this

earlier this week i slept in my car at a truck stop (played poker until 3 am and drank too much coffee so just hit the road and pulled into a truck stop to sleep around 4 am before finishing the drive and checking into hotel in the next poker town the next day)

and for breakfast ate food from a can (can't eat 99% of fast food because i'm a glutard so eating on the road is very tricky)

it wasn't due to financial constraints (actually crushed it that week, one of my best weeks ever) - i'm just a simple guy with simple tastes who figured i just wanted to nap a few hours and not go through the whole rigormorale of finding lodging, booking, checking in, etc - just wanted to get going and stop once tired - helps that i'm a heavy sleeper - once i'm out i stay out

but today, while walking through a dollar tree today to pick up some nail clippers and energy drinks - i walked past the canned food aisle and openly asked myself if i wanted to have another depression meal alone in my car and then decided i'd save that for times i was in more remote areas and trying to get a move on and instead ate lunch at the strip mall next door and hit the buffet

pretty amped because taco johns and culvers will be available in the next stop of KC and they have loads of glutard options for celiacs

in the meantime

rickroll I am so confused

although I agree Culver's is great and we are going there Saturday for my 12 year old's bday

rickroll I am so confused

if i'm on the road i prioritize getting to where i want to go instead of staying where i don't want to be so i'll often car camp until refreshed enough to continue and a lot of fast dining options no bueno for me (not even the french fries at mcdonald's are gluten free because they use beef seasoning which has wheat) so i'll often stop at a grocery store and get a salad or something from the deli and/or stuff to make some gluten free wraps with on the road

but if i'm at my intended destination, i am indeed staying in proper accommodations

Problems already.

Everyone is free to live however they want. The difference is you aren't promoting your life on YouTube and you don't seem to have an attitude that you are a genius who is beating the system while everyone else around you is a chump.

Although for some unknown reason you feel compelled to explain and justify it to us random strangers in this thread, I guess that's what is the slightly confusing bit.

okay that makes sense. at least you get somewhere for a purpose.

Problems already.

I understand people's stance on mask/no mask for a pandemic. But for cooking food for sale to customers, you could at least try to be as hygienic as possible and use a mask and gloves and maybe an apron. And if you aren't going to do that, you probably shouldn't be making vlogs of the cooking process and advertise it at your farmer's markets.

But that's just me.

by parisron k

Problems already.

I haven't witnessed a greater disaster since I bid two clubs and my girlfriend passed.

Troop's look of a seal waiting to be clubbed is always a favorite.

It's not $2,000 in a sock it is his GF 's life savings.

by Turdzilla k

Troop's look of a seal waiting to be clubbed …

Resting dumbass face.

Gotta be awfully windy in the space between those ears.

The FIRST thing I said when I saw the new space was that the Troopers are going to need a cooling counter or Marble slate.

by parisron k

Problems already (for the Troopers).

by MSchu18 k

...when I saw the new space, i knew the Troopers are going to need a cooling counter or Marble slate.

It looks like Lady Trooper (Christina) is sick of it all, already.

I'm on record as saying the Troopers getting involved in an unfurnished commercial kitchen, buying thousands of dollars in brand new equipment, is a big mistake.

But it’s all Christina's money, so the candy man (Trooper) don't care.

Humidity in the desert? Who could've predicted that?

Burning multiple months of profits testing shiz out makes for good content

by parisron k

Problems already.

That's pretty rough, spending all that time and money setting up a kitchen in a place that doesn't even have an adequate HVAC system.

There's no way the HVAC system is getting upgraded there, and they're stuck making similar batches as they do from their home kitchen.

I guess that's why u do proper research before jumping all in like this.

I feel awful for them, hope they find a way to fix this but doesn't seem like there's a solution here.
