New fast food discussion/review thread
OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.
In
My McDonald's cranked the price of drinks to $2.49
Except the small... that is still $1. So, small it is!
swerving to another transactional perspective
me offering you a shiny object as a crow would
expecting in exchange a physically similar something to take back to the nest
For those who partake, in the Seattle area, McRibs arrived 14 November-ish. 2023 retail price was $6.39; will Ronald crank the prices up this year?
Checking my past posts, I poo poo'd this price as they were apparently $5 in 2022. Will they be something like $6.99?
Guessing 6.89 this year. $11.89 more than id be willing to pay for one.
Bogo those mcribs!
Brang 'em on!!!
Chicken Mac #2! Still delicious. Way more filling compared to a standard Big Mac.

Looks like you got hooked up with the Mac sauce too
Are the patties simply two regular McChicken patties ??
Google and others in this thread says they are a different patty. This thread described it as a giant mcnugget. I think that is accurate.
Big Cluck does not look appealing to me at all.
Try it, it might surprise you. Broaden your taste horizons.
On mccalisters pick 2 i got a quarter club, when i pointed it out the manager lady was like
“By half it just means part of a sandwich, not a full one”
When i said it says half, not quarter, she repeated the same thing, then gave a ridiculously snide “can i help you with anything else?”
Currently seething in rage
Thats definitely an email corporate situation.
Shrinkflation, where 50% = 25%
Next time it will be just a bite.
I'm 100% with you! The website pictures show 2 club quarters for the pick 2 and 4 quarters for the whole sandwich.
She may not even know that a half isn't the same as a quarter. Fractions are hard.
go back and wave that picture in their face
As a fan of mcnuggets, i should get on the big chicken mac
i wonder how many nugs each patty is equivalent to? I'd guess 3.5.
"The McDonald's Chicken Big Mac is a twist on the classic and it’s definitely not not a Big Mac. Two juicy tempura chicken patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese and pickles on that signature sesame seed bun. "
There are 700 calories and 1410mg sodium (61 Percent Daily Values) in a Chicken Big Mac from McDonald's
Reg. mac is 590 cal, 1050mg sodium. As they are the same price, clearly the calorie/sodium value leader is the chicken mac!
