Your preferred candidate -- "it's all a psyop" -- isn't on the ballot, so we have to choose from what remains (or, by not voting, effectively let others do so).

I'm ok with Cornell West. Not sure which states he's on the ballot.

What’s wrong with being partisan when one of the parties nominated a traitor to the constitution?

Actually lolling

I don't think your post is meant to be satire but it comes off that way and gives me a chuckle. Has made my day thus far as it doesn't take much

I don’t find it funny that people have memory-holed Trump trying to steal an election, or don’t care that he called to suspend the constitution.

Calling yourself a free-thinking, non-partisan guy is way cooler than being a normal adult.

Yeah, it's an ego trip. This " I'm too superior to engage in partisan politics" thing of his get's tiresome after you've heard it a thousand times.

Why post here then? This is a politics forum. Politics is a partisan activity.

We got a lot of choices in Colorado:

Kamala D. Harris
Donald J. Trump
Blake Huber
Chase Russell Oliver
Jill Stein
Randall Terry
Cornel West
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Around Boulder I've seen 2 or 3 Harris signs and about the same number of Kennedy signs, no Trump signs.

Researching the lesser known offices before I drop off my ballot. Colorado makes it easy to vote so I guess it's rigged.

luckbox, what are your thoughts on my girl jill?

There is no reason why politics should be partisan or at least especially not with only two parties-- you're just conditioned to think that it is.

by Brian James k

No. Not at all. That was supposed to be a joke. But as usual the liberals around here with absolutely zero sense of humor took it seriously and here we are. I mean look at gorgon here. The guy actually went and researched the origins of the sign. LOL. I mean how dumb is that.

I don't even have to make an effort to make you guys look stupid, You do it for me.

Yes every time you get caught on , it was a joke .
Every time trump made a huge lapsus , it was always A joke .
The problem is it wasn’t a joke for the people that vote for him .

Ps: you are so funny you have to claim it was a joke .

I don't know much about her.

I'd be interested in finding out where a few places are that politics is not partisan.

hmm, peace and no WW3 seems like a pretty good platform tbh esp when the Dems are campaigning on more war.

It’s ok now.
You have your friend Putin , siding with North Korea , wars will end soon …

We see how great the crowd you stand with are .
Model of peacemaker president .

In the sense that it’s not a metaphysical necessity, sure. In the sense that people have very different worldviews that are oftentimes mutually exclusive, how else are we supposed to hash out political disagreements?

And eras of broad bipartisan agreement oftentimes freeze in place bad ideas. Marijuana criminalization was at one point a bipartisan agreement. The Patriot Act which is widely panned was bipartisan. AUMF was largely bipartisan.

Say what you will about any of these acts but just because they carry bipartisan agreement that doesn’t mean they are good.

by Luckbox Inc k

I don't know much about her.

so we can safely assume she's a psyop?

If she were a psyop, he would know more about her than anyone on 2+2.

Politics does not have to be a partisan activity. Politics should be a consensus building activity, just like government should really be "things we do together."

My side/your side/his side/their side. It obscures the fact that we all need to be on all of our sides, not only to get anything done but to make the world a better place to live in.

solid reasoning 😀

It’s a nice sentiment but the problem is that the normative question isn’t uniformly agreed upon. Some people think making the world a better place is everyone becoming Christian, prayers going back into school, banning gay marriage and transition, banning abortion, and other people think that stuff sucks.

Furthermore with economic questions, some people want a free market, deregulation, cut welfare spending, right to work, privatize education and healthcare, cut taxes, while others think that’s not so good.

And the implicit assumption here is that we should just split the difference between the two. That’s not always going to be possible or even desirable. You can’t split the difference on gay rights for example without it being a discrimination. You can’t split the difference on free trade without it being protectionist. You can’t split the difference on cutting taxes or raising taxes without cutting or raising taxes respectively. Etc.

Lolllll

Lolllll

How could they do that when they publicly said they don't have records from that time? Can you show us where McDonalds said that?

Palau
Federated States of Micronesia

So everyone agrees on everything in those places?

When is it considered to close call? Someone posted it’s about 60/40 for Trump. Seems likes he’s starting to run away with it.

Ya they said they have no record of Harris being employed by them or any of their franchisees.
