Trump teaming up with Musk is a big mistake. I like Trump more than Harris but his coddling billionaires is a bad look. Also, it's tough for me to ignore that his base is just not a smart group of people. This is why I will be sitting this one out. If you really want to quibble semantics, it's more precise to say that US allies routinely kill journalists with US-supplied arms while we politely look the other way.
Fact is those aren't journalists in the sense normal people mean it. They are members or supporters of terrorist organizations who among other things, help those terrorist organizations spread their propaganda.

Nobody is messing with Victor in real life (well, not me anyway), and I have no idea who he is despite his paranoid ramblings. I could probably find out if I wanted, but I don't see any scenario where I'd want that information for any reason.

The idea that the left or dumbocrats or "woke" people are more easily offended than conservatives or Trumpkins or whoever you are is nonsense. People **** their pants when someone takes a knee or Disney making a character black or Dixie Chicks singing some song or...and the list goes on.
And while a lot of it is both sides being the same here and a lot of it being performative, it seems like conservatives have always thought they could just be loud mouthed idiots talking about how Democrats are demons and enemies of the state and Stalinists and everyone was supposed to know that they were doing hyperbole or just funnin' or something, but when they are the object of anything but the most respectful disagreement they fall to pieces.
I have a theory about this. Sure, it's largely that the Conservatives are just that entitled, but it's also that they know that to some degree they are partly wrong and just funnin' (example - every single person knew god damned well that Obama was born in the USA), but the people calling Trumpkins names really mean it and both sides really know that.
