The other difference, and I can’t believe I need to explain this, is up until biden yesterday and however you want to interpret it, to the extent democrats are attacking its specifically targeted to trump or MAGA politicians whereas trump is constantly demonizing vague general groups. If you say MAGA politicians are scum that's completely different from saying MAGA people are scum yes exactly. You might for example think that a group of politicians is scamming their voters, which happens often enough
