after almost touching 5 USD per dozen they went back to a little more than 2 USD in mid 2023, and are back up at almost 4 per dozen right now.
that's average eggs in average American cities so 10 USD per dozen for "free range" in expensive areas isn't absurd currently

I gave the average prices, and then i said that free range in expensive areas can reach 10 per dozen (currently, as 1 year ago it was back to 5 even for the very expensive ones), gorgo didn't believe it, i provided the source.
Ofc you can buy at under-national-avg prices even in expensive areas if you shop around with some street-smarts and don't require "organic" labeling and so on

If the people complaining about $10 eggs are even talking about free range organic eggs, they are just trolling. There's no intersection between the people complaining and people who pick free range organic.

the 53 mln was for alleged price FIXING (ie a cartel) and it was last year.
Don't use the term price gouging just because camela used it, she really didn't know any better. It's inflation. Price gouging is the artificial raising of costs for essential goods or services due to an emergency or natural event due to a sudden demand. And sleep saying he was gonna make the supermarkets lower their prices also shows he has no idea or clue how our system works.

I never said I didn't believe that you can find eggs for absurd prices. I said saying eggs cost 10 per dozen is absurd and it is. They cost a quarter of that
