That is what I do and the answer I gave on conscription etc stands. Nothign about 'leftist' is hurt by your arguments unless you insist being leftist means being stalinist.
To reitterate: We try to deter and then we fight if we have to. Conscription may even be a last resort although we plan to avoid it.
