I think the moderators are tilted and stressed out because they're basically babysitting kindergarteners. However I'd like to relieve them of some of their work load, where can I apply to be a mod in P&S?

You think getting the chief kindergartener to babysit the others will make their work easier?
There's a slight difference of intention. Sure, in a literal sense you have to look to see but "seeing something" isn't always the same as "looking at something". Writers know the difference and would choose one over the other.

I don't need to be propagandized anything about Israel because i already start from the point where they are justified to do literally anything to their enemies to guarantee their safety. No amount of collateral damage of non-western citizens (or our allies) will change that for me so how can propaganda affect me?
I don't get peddled stories of how Israel is treating palestinians in Israeli hospitals or feeding them and so on (which i am sure is happening to some extent, and i am sure pro-Israel propagandists are pushing somewhere).
I am more of a royalist than the king so i am immune to propaganda on that topic.
I am not sure how much i can answer this and elaborate on this within forum rules, i have no idea how CN would look at positions like, say, being against the Geneva convention.
I don't know if it's allowed to defend that and other positions i hold so i think i'll stop at literally anything for now and you can read it as expansively as you wish.

I've an idea that 'their enemies' take the same view the other way round. As is usual in regional ethnic conflicts, which is why such conflicts are so depressingly unpleasant.

but our side has the technological and economical advantage so we should use it with no remorse and with the gloves off and end the conflict.

I will say modding any politico forum or subreddit is easily the hardest to mod. unless its reddits /r politics than its easy ofc
The reason I have a better than thou or think highly of myself is because I dont get emotional and actually think both parties have good takes and dogshit takes all in one. See both sides.
Historically moderators here at this subreddit really have smaller runs becuase it is exhausting, but aside from the isra/pales thread, its not as flame consuming and as much vitriol as it has been in the past. at least from what i recall
and we dont have mods taking money on bets as a 3rd neutral party to settle only to run away with it
Most of those users are gone and this happened such a long long time ago, and iirc a lot of users forgave him, I think it was only a sum amount of 1-2k
he is no longer a mod ofc. Don't want to bring up old wounds in case he still posts here or lurks idk someoen else caa chime in if they want if they were around. Im 98% sure I know the name but dont want to get it wrong in the very low chance. I brought this up in 2020 since it happend quite a few years prior to that anda lot of people forgave him

That’s nothing. One time a mod stole 30k from a user so the user bought the web domain with the scammers real name in it and outed him as a thief. Those were the days…
