2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Haha all luck with a little bit of skill, right?
lol
Hill just looks slow this year.
Brock Bowers
special
Down 20 with Mahomes & Kelce left - even with a + matchup I'm seeing 150 yards passing with 1 TD for Mahomes and 4 catches for 30 yards for Kelce
Down 1.5 with KC DEF vs Butker - supposedly a coinflip, seems more like 30% chance at best with Butker drilling FGs all night
QJ is so ass, the DBs don’t even think about covering him.
Dude just seems to run bad everywhere. I still think he’s a good player. But yeah, the repetitive pain is getting old.
I’m sure he’ll smash next year when he’s a 6th round pick lol.
He's good but he'll never be elite. It seems people just can't give up that dream. He was never a Garret Wilson talent.
He might not be elite, but I still think his draft price could have paid off. By the end of draft season, he was going closer to the 2/3 turn.
119 targets, 72 catches, 1,042 yards and 4 TDs in 15 games as a rookie.
138 targets, 87 catches, 1,123 yards and 5 TDs in 16 games as a 2nd year.
He could easily still be improving into year 3. He had projectable volume in an offense with poor target competition. He had a new OC after his prior OC was basically the worst in the league.
Let's not act like he had no upside.
100 catches, 1,400 yards, and 8 TDs. That's a top 10 WR.
Nice! You probably thought you were drawing dead after that White TD. He didn't do **** the rest of the way.
Sweating those defensive points at the end too.
tied for 3rd out of 30k. Shipping a big one is right around the corner
My opponent has 2.7 point lead and worthy, I had chiefs D. They scored 2 points but I won by .3 bc worthy scored -1 lol
This was during OT
This is the final score
I love getting a win with a 1% chance.....lol
On the opposite side of that coin, here’s my last two weeks in my dumb work league:
Lose by .18, needed like 5 total from two guys.
Lose by .25 on the last play of the game TD to Hunt. I still would have won except Worthy put up a -1
lol, I’d be so tilted. Especially with Mason leaving injured last week and then Worthy/Likely this week.
Khalil Herbert to the Bengals is interesting.
Any other Rice owners just a wee bit sad seeing Juju and now Hopkins feasting in his old role? He was easily headed for WR1 numbers from 4/5/6th round pick
Yeah, the Rice injury has been one of the biggest bummers of the year.
And lol, Khalil was ready to gtfo of Chicago.
Trying to deal for Hurts - which pass catcher straight up would fair to deal in .5 PPR:
St. Brown
Kupp
Deebo
Mooney
Kittle
Otton
I dropped Juju on Sunday morning for Herbert to ensure his rights if he landed in a good spot and Cincy about as good as one could've hoped for. Probably just a 1 for 1 replacement for Moss's backup role since Brown has looked pretty good.
Does he still rank at the bottom of my ragtag collection of handcuffs?
Hall
Dobbins
Allen
Bigsby
Davis
Herbert
I'd probably rank it
Davis
Allen
Herbert
Bigsby
I just don't trust Bigsby, he has no pass catching upside, and that team is a mess. I also think we've seen more from Davis than Allen, especially from a pass catching standpoint.
Trying to deal for Hurts - which pass catcher straight up would fair to deal in .5 PPR:
St. Brown
Kupp
Deebo
Mooney
Kittle
Otton
Definitely not ARSB or Kittle.
Mooney or Otton won't get it done, but if you can pull that off, I say go for it.
Kupp or Deebo is probably most fair, but depending on your total depth, total starters, other QB options, etc., I'm not sure I'd want to move either.
In a vacuum feels like Deebo is very fair for Hurts. Kupp feels like too much.
