Qatar may not have the same optimism for hosting penniless kidnappers and murderers as they do the billionaires who finance and order the murdering is all I’m saying really.

He may have griped about Israel 'killing babies', but he clearly couldn't care less how many babies Hamas killed, because that wouldn't suit his worldview. He probably won't be charged. The police just decided he'd had enough latitude to make a narcissistic arse of himself and it was time he wasn't there.

It would be extremely shrewd imo if it were genuine. What better way to non-violently and cost-effectively dismantle Hamas than to offer a safe and compensated avenue to defect?

They could pay and follow through and then in 2026 or 2027 some very unlikely accidents start to happen to those people wherever they are worldwide

if it even seemed like they were going to follow through then I think they would face an insane amount of domestic backlash. it may just unravel the govt entirely if they were seen to be granting amnesty and passage to anyone thought to have even known about a POW or hostage.
