I went to bed at like 8PM EST. Proud of myself for not doomscrolling Twitter for hours and hours like last time.
Something I've been kinda thinking about but haven't said aloud: everybody kept talking about "The Dobbs Effect", calling it "ROEvember", etc. And I'm wondering:
-Democrats were in charge for a lengthy period of time during which Roe was law, including ol' Brandon being POTUS when it was repealed. Now, level 2+ thinkers might say, well, it's not that simple, Trump got lucky that he got to make multiple SCOTUS picks, etc. etc. And those level 2+ thinkers are right... but, and if you follow sports or politics discussion on the internet, this will seem obvious... but TONS of voters are stuck in level 1 and are just like, "herp, they let Roe expire on their watch, they don't really care about this issue as much as they pretend to..."
-Many women, of all races and ages and political leanings, are members of various religious faiths. They're anti-choice because their religious leaders tell them that's the way to be. These women think abortion is literally "baby murder"; that dwarfs the importance of other issues in their mind
Now, of course, I don't intend to blame the dames, men are the main problem, no doubt, I'm just trying to analyze what happened here.

I mean, I follow this **** pretty closely and I haven't watched an hour of ALL cable news in 15 combined years. I'm not alone. Cable news viewers lean RIDICULOUSLY old, even accounting for the fact that TV viewership in general leans super old.
With that said, I did see a minute-long clip posted on Twitter of the CNN crew calling Harris' campaign "perfect". "We had all the celebrities! she said", "we had Taylor Swift AND the Beyhive!" Ugh.

They think Trump is good for the economy because they saw a dope meme from @TrumpTruth1488 putting a "Brandon did this!" sticker next to a gas tank. They bitch with their friends about how the price of eggs is up 5000% and they all eventually group-condition themselves into believing it.

Whatever way the masses skew that's where you have to find the votes if you want to win. If the masses skew conservative you run as an alternative conservative or you lose.
Can't blame the voters like literally ever, your job is to do anything that works to make them vote for you, and if you have more resources and more media control than the opposition you should win all the times
