I am not sure it is the first concrete plan by Trump but it's a list of verifiable claims (in the sense that we can then check if that happens or not) and specific policy choices about a topic that matters to some of us and that we discussed in this forum a lot .

When we talk uninformed voters and "Who is Kamala", "When did Biden drop out", etc. I have to wonder how many people have actually seen Trump calling his political opponents vermin, know about immigrants poisoning the blood of the country, know about promising retribution against the left.
How many Trump voters actually know why some on the left call him a fascist and have actually examined the whole list of evidence?

Yeah man. I looked in the mirror and I don't feel bad for holding the opinion that Identity politics isn't somehow more offensive than divisive and hateful rhetoric. Can identity politics be annoying? Yes. Can the fringe take it too far? Yes.

It has been interesting to watch the reaction of the "burn it all down" contingent of the forum. I was curious whether, in the breach, they really wanted to watch it burn (metaphorically, of course). Most do, it seems. Not all, but most.

but... i believe he is indeed extremely capable at finding waste in government and stamping it down - something that most people would be incompetent at is something that he'd probably thrive at
idk if it'll actually come to fruition, or how much control or ability he'll actually have
and i say this knowing people i know who are very close to me, even some family work in government could lose their jobs and some amazing bits of government which i adore could themselves be on the chopping block (NPR, PBS, etc)
but on the whole, as much as i despise trump and elon, i'm rather optimistic that those two buffoons could actually dismantle the leviathan

the major difference is the left will make posts that declare "kumbaya let's save the world and spend your money to feed a stranger" is a far less compelling argument to a young male than the right's approach of "get a load of these cucks"

Anyway, this election thread has become an insane circlejerk against the Democrats. Reality isn’t determined by popular vote, so just because you voted for the winning side or didn’t vote that doesn’t mean you get to dictate what is or isn’t real epistemically. You guys have really high spirits now, but I’m sitting and waiting for the fallout, which definitionally won’t come until after Trump takes office and has to answer for the insane promises he has made.
If I was religious I would pray for this country but absent that I will just hope for the best.
Well its probably not a coincidence that these cabinet members noted that he praised Adolf Hitler in private settings and that a big part of todays posts are about Trump using Hitlers rhetoric nearly verbatim.
