This is just what I could find in that short time frame. It is all over. I have repeatedly asked you what actions I've taken which make you say this and you always refuse to answer. If you are going to accuse me of this then answer.

Ok, so how would deal with a poster that repeatedly brings up the same issue over and over, refuses to take no for an answer, blatantly claims they will not abide by the rulings, that they are at the end of their rope, that they will not behave well?

It’s just pure, unabashed belligerence on your part, and no regular poster would have gotten away with so much as you have.

If you can’t do those things, and think that gives you some sort of free pass to ignore rules and say whatever you want, then you are misinformed and need to see yourself out of this forum.

You do not get to say “no I won’t do that” to the mods here. You do not have a choice, same as everyone else.

Your choice is to abide by the rulings or leave.

If I told a regular poster “xyz is the way it is and is the standard for behavior” and they said no blablabla because for 2 years I’ve been big mad and you can’t make me, I would just ban them.

I’m going to just ban you if you can’t stop.

I would hear them out in good faith for once instead of doing what you're doing here (yet again) here.

I do not believe that demanding a poster put another poster on ignore is a valid thing which can be enforced on everyone. When you explained why you said something along the lines of "fair enough", then immediately demanded it again.

I am not ignoring mod rulings, and I never have unless you count the first time you told me to stop posting and I did not realize that was your way of asking me to temp ban as a mod ruling. Since then I have obeyed every single mod ruling you have made, including removing myself as all three mods insult me.

My post is regarding this policy. Do you think you are above having your policies questioned?

I don’t have an issue with my authority being questioned- I’ve changed many rulings. But I’ll never be bullied into changing one or berated or worn down either.

I just wonder why you seem to have some sort of mental block that you’re acting like a pariah and we’re never going to listen to you while you behave like this. Go away.

You have interesting contributions to make. I personally do not want you to leave. But at some point, this has to stop. As you know, when I was a mod, I told you several times in public threads that I didn't enjoy being a mod and that if you thought you would do a better job, you were free to tell Bobo, Spew, or whoever that you wanted to take over. As far as I can tell, you didn't want to do that, probably because you understood that iit s highly annoying to listen to people complain endlessly about the moderation.

I am not going so far as to say you shouldn't complain about moderation unless you are willing to do the job yourself. Make your complaint once. For that matter, make it three times. But at some point, after you are sure that you have been heard, you just have to make a decision. You have to live with the moderation or quit posting in Politics until there is a moderator who is more to your liking. Attempting to change the moderation by repeating the same complaints over and over and over to the same moderator isn't a viable third option imo.

When you suggested that I moderate I informed you that I had already offered to moderate the threads I want to participate in. I later offered to mod the entire forum to Bobo.

I am far from sure I have been heard. The reason I am far from sure that I've been heard is that this current reaction is similar to the reaction I've gotten every single time. I am agreeing to live with the moderation or quit posting, and regardless of what happens here I will be quitting posting. I am still going to be heard.

I am also not trying the same things with the same moderator over and over.

I'd like to point out that neither of you have actually addressed the content of my post to address the actual moderating issue, instead you both are attacking me. This is a pattern.

I approached it productively the first time via PM. You melted down there too in similar fashion. At a certain point, one loses patience repeating the same verdict.

You ignored several of my questions and instead focused on "respect". When I brought up an example which you said clearly should have been moderated you blamed the situation on me for reporting too much, and then continued to not moderate it. I was not heard by any means.

I'm sure you're sick of hearing me, that has been clear from your insults. You will not be hearing me anymore soon. Until then please be productive or remove yourself from the discussion.

Also, ftr, you are not fit to moderate this forum. I base that assessment on your overall temperament and unwillingness to acknowledge that the spectrum of mainstream political ideas may vastly differ from your own.

You're temp banned so I don't expect a response but fwiw I think the recent attacks on you by moderators are bullying and outrageous. I'm quite shocked.

Some fights cannot be won and in this case it's also not worth winning It can be ignored silently with no loss to you

It doesn't seem to be going very well, I agree. Moderation is way over the top now and fails to read the room, issuing bans after the posters concerned have finished rowing and are now getting on well.
