Trump 2nd term prediction thread
So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

So Hegsreth's controversy wasn't about his chest tattoo, it's about the "Deus Vult" tattoo on his arm, and AP got their hands on an email from some Master Sergeant about it. Admittedly I'm not overly familiar with whatever neo-nazis use for codes and symbols beyond a few, but there are tons of articles from well before the election about the Deus Vult thing and yeah apparently it's a well-known thing. So have fun defending this as a guy who is just really into medieval knights and ****.
A sexual assault allegation in his past seems to have sprung up too but I'm sure it's all just a misunderstanding/hit job/etc.

I have no idea what "templar pilled" means, and funnily enough, I know nothing about Neo Nazi tattoos. Why are people saying it's a Neo Nazi tattoo then? Are they lying?

people can't understand the right is a big tent like the left is, because there is less infighting between factions.
you can see a huge difference between Bernie and some pro Hamas student (who might like Bernie for other stuff) while both are on the radical left because those are more vocal outside their circles.

While I'm definitely pretty happy about support of Israel, that's really not what I was saying there. For the benefit of the hard of understanding, I was saying that I was happy when anyone who voted for Trump on the rationale "well, he's a compulsive liar but he wouldn't lie to me" gets absolutely ass****ed.

or they knew they were screwed regardless (wrt Israel-gaza) with both parties going allin pro Israel anyway, and they voted to pay less taxes and deregulate their small businesses (and send illegals who actually compete with the uneducated portion of American Muslims for jobs away), and they want to get heard anyway in the off chance they get some extra stuff sent their way
