GGPoker, Elky and Fedor: HS Regs' Perspective
After the events of the last few weeks, I wanted to write a post detailing what has happened with GG from the perspectiv

Also, who you would rather see and observe play? Few "sponsored pros" that are not that good and playing vs recs players, or actual best poker players playing and competing for being rewarded to get into games with recs.
I mean I fully understand why poker sites would reward streamers, as they do want to bring all the attention and promotion to the sites that they can get. I just think these things could be done in a more mindful manner and they would be better served by leaving some public HS tables.
I disagree. Let me explain why. If you were a whale would you prefer a table with 6 whales and 3 sharks or a table with 2 whales and 7 sharks? Finding sharks is easy. Finding whales is hard. GG is designing the game to appeal to the whales.
So where are all the whales? The games are dead. I don't think I've seen a full table once, it's just a table or two of short handed play with Elky, Misha and a occasional fish...

A lot of whales just like to gamble and don’t even realize who are crushers and who aren’t and who he might prefer to lose his money to. Friend of mine who easily qualifies as a whale regularly goes to the casino to play some poker and have a few drinks. Does he realize he’s a dog? Of course. But he won’t see the difference between a -10bb loser and a top reg at the table.
And is your friend playing a $100 thousand stack? There are true whales that play and lose big money and big fish in a small pond that get called whales that are very different than true whales.
Give a fair market place and let the people decide.
What GG is doing now I am not convinced it's to GG's best interests.
Sadly for you GG gets to decide what is in their best interest not you. They have a great deal more information about their costs and net in various games than you do, Why do you think you know the actual net benefit/loss here? Do you agree GG has more information about their profits than you do?

WPT Poker has a two pros per table limit, and they use AI to determine who is pro or not. I'm sure there's some problems with this system too, but at least it's not a racket that leaves a foul taste in the mouth of pretty much anyone who knows what's going on.

That is not true.
WPT got a 2 pro per table where the liquidity is high, aka low stakes.
At 5/10$+ it's 5-6 pros pee table around 1-2 fish with higher rake then GG.

I’ve listened to a few interviews with their execs and they basically argue it’s impossible for a new market entrant to invest in site security, software, and customer acquisition with low rake. Remains to be seen how they implement everything on the new NA site, but they seemed reasonable to me. If my hourly stays the same I’m fine with giving up some rakeback and volume.
Why is Elky even a sponsored pro any more? Does he have any significant results in the last 10-15 years? Just because of his bleached hair? Dude has nothing going for him in terms of either poker skill or charisma.

Just catching up with this thread, wanted to quickly clarify that CoinPoker have never given me a single cent towards my buy ins for their online games, even the streamed ones.
Innerspy has gone from smashing screens losing flips at 500nl to winning houses in a day. Fair ****ing play.
Can Rakeback mitigate this? What's the best deal you've got?

Just ludicrous. Wasn't the point of doing this to prevent HS recs from hemorrhaging to a select few players? So now they just get to hemorrhage to one (two) guy instead?
