Yeah, I don’t know what to do here. If post was ours, he would’ve gone unlimited. If it was neutral he still should’ve gone unlimited.
So do we go with something like London or England and hope Erv knew that we knew the connection with masala so he was signaling a safe neutral?
IIRC, chicken tikka masala was created by Indians in Scotland.
So I dunno about London or England being super safe. Besides, if he really wanted us to hit England as a neutral here, there are way better clues than "masala".
Maybe go with duck? I've never heard of duck masala, but it's at least close to chicken.

There are also something like 6,479,371 better clues for India than “masala.” That being a 1-clue in a forced unlimited guess game should at least suggest he was considering clueing a neutral. The UK connection was all I had.
I’m fine with duck for the culinary connection.
I would’ve clued Pakistan - 1 for India/England and Delhi - 1 for India/London, so I’ll assume Ervin would’ve done the same. I’m fine with being off of either of those words.

It’s red at worst, which might still be fine. It’s the only other word out there that wouldn’t be a completely random guess.
I don’t love bolding something Ervin pretty clearly clued us away from, but anything else would be blind darts.
What if we guess port?
It’s probably red and doesn’t help them if we guess it. If post ends up being red it’s an unnecessary freebie
