Trump 2nd term prediction thread

Trump 2nd term prediction thread

So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.

Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.

A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

Basic reasoning? Ask an 8 year old if we should keep our boarders open and let unknowns flood in at will, and also if we're withdrawing a military presence from a country, who should leave last the military or the civilians. I can assure you the 8 year old will agree with President Trump.

The post you responded to was talking about you, not about Trump. Let's add "elementary reading" to our list of skills an average 8 year has that Playbig doesn't.

Ultimately if you're against pineapple on pizza you're probably

1) uncultured-- pineapple isn't the only fruit found on pizza

2) overly dogmatic-- who gives a **** ley people eat what they want they put tuna and eggs on pizza in Brazil.

3) close minded. Try some new things every once in a while you'll be ok.

Fair. I've had Brazilian pizza with egg and boar and it's great.

However, you have to draw the line somewhere. Swedish pizza is like the people who think lgbtq should include a p.

MAGAtards keep going with this dumb narrative of "everyone has a bad opinion of Trump because of how the media portrays him" which is idiotic and makes totally no sense, since we can all judge him on his own words, tweets, rallies, interviews, public appearances, podcasts etc. etc. which have nothing to do with the media.

They’re stupid. Trump has been flirting with politics for 40+ years. He is a very well known commodity. The media has not defined Trump; Trump has defined Trump. Trumptards just blame the media when he shows all his hideous warts. He’s played them like the chumps they are.

It is wild to think about how dems spent billions on ads to make sure every single American knew trump was a bad person and yet the guy still steamrolled the hand picked nominee of the dem party. It makes you wonder what made so many people vote for such an evil person.

I knew Trump was dogshit 35 years ago. They voted for him because they like him. That says a great deal.

Actually it's pretty easy math. 50% of those eligible vote. Of those half vote for Trump.
So 12% of our adult voters are pretty shitty people, and 12% are below average intelligence.

90-95% of the voters who voted trump would have voted for any republican nominee , same is true for Harris and democrat voters for any democrat, same is true every election for every candidate since Bush v Gore at least.

Elections are won within that 5-10% margin (which is mostly made of independents) , and by activating low propensity voters that vote for your side if motivated enough but don't necessarily vote.

Given Trump won by convincing people who had voted for Biden against him 4 years before, to vote for him this round, it's quite absurd to claim it's stupid or shitty people.

But the left gonna do the left and never admit mistakes which is the only reason the right has a shot at winning in general these days as unfortunately most leftist position are majoritarian (but not those related to immigration or some weird cultural niche).

Where the left went allin against immigration it won massively in europe. Obama was the "deporter in chief" and had decent approval for all his career as president. Biden made ads about social security, medicare, unemployment benefits 24/7 in swing states and won easily.

But blame the voters if they don't pick Tampon Tim and "defund the police, fund gender change operation for inmates" Harris

You literally quoted a post that explains the reason.

Yes it's the intelligent people that don't vote!

This is me. I would have voted for any GOP candidate vs Biden that wasn't Trump. And voted for any Democrat candidate that was running against Trump. Obviously my vote didn't matter.

According to Wikipedia, Trump got about 17,000,000 votes in the GOP primaries in 2024. Not much defense for those folks who voted Trump when presented with conservative alternatives. 17M/151M = .1125 x 100 = 11.25%

RFK Jr. at one point at least had some redeeming qualities, apparently.

Speaking of things that are wild to think, it's wild to think there is literally no floor to whose dick you'll suck as long as they're lowering taxes for some billionaires.

Bahbah is like Stormy Daniels, and Playbig is like that other one, the one who actually fell in love with the orange swamp creature.

Joke a heterosexual male friend used to tell......"Would I suck a guy's dick for half a million dollars? You'd have to pay me another half a million to stop."

There's an old joke apparently told by housewives to each other when Indecent Proposal came out. "Would I **** Richard Gere for a million dollars? Sure, but where would I get a million dollars?"

A lot of things that Trump says seem designed to impress 8-year old kids.

A lot of things this current regime does causes an 8 year old to scratch his head and say wtf are these idiots in washington doing?

Just so you know how much I'm kidding with the redeemable qualities post earlier, here's a sampling of some of the dumbest crap that has come from RFK Jr.'s stupid face:

He has claimed HIV is not the cause of AIDS (it is), but rather poppers are. He also has claimed that chemicals in water turn kids gay and refers to puberty blockers as “castration drugs.”
https://www.them.us/story/rfk-jr-kennedy...

He has claimed that the 1918 influenza pandemic was caused by influenza vaccines (it wasn’t).
https://deplatformdisease.substack.com/p...

After causing (with the help of local anti-vaccine lobbyists) a measles outbreak in Samoa which resulted in 83 deaths, Kennedy blamed the outbreak on measles vaccines (a thing that is literally impossible).

https://www.respectfulinsolence.com/2019...

He has repeatedly claimed vaccines cause autism (they do not) while also dehumanizing autistic people.

https://www.salon.com/2023/06/30/rfk-jr-...

He has denied that there has ever been a vaccine that has been safe and effective.
https://www.factcheck.org/2023/11/sciche...

He claimed COVID-19 was ethnically targeted to attack Caucasian and Black people, while Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews were relatively immune.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/robert-f-ke...

He has said that rather than take stimulant medications, those diagnosed with ADHD should be forced to work in labor camps.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/rfk-jr-says-l...

He has claimed that he is not anti-vaccine, despite being at the head of the world’s leading source of anti-vaccine disinformation.
https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/covid-...

He has argued that the government trying to keep citizens healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic was worse than being a Jew in the Holocaust.
https://www.politico.com/news/2022/01/24...

He has apologized for comparing vaccination itself to the Holocaust multiple times (it’s worth asking how genuine such apologies are if you keep making the comparison).
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015...

He has touted health benefits for unpasteurized (raw) milk that do not exist.
https://www.axios.com/2024/11/20/what-is...

In the wake of an era in which infectious diseases are a critical threat to public health, he has stated that he will have infectious disease research “take a break” for 8 years.

Claimed he had a brain-eating worm that impaired his cognition to avoid paying alimony to his second wife, who then committed suicide as a result. He never produced any documentation of this event and now, in 2024, he says he has “recovered from the memory loss and fogginess” and has “no aftereffects from the parasite.”

Sounds like the ideal mascot for the MAGA movement and everything it stands for to me.

Then there is the problem of "Hawaii" pizza which not only has random tinned pineapple, it also has toxic poisonous fake glowing pink "ham" which we don't feed even to the dogs in Italy.

Pineapple and Bacon is the only way. That ham is gross. Where do you stand on eating slices with a fork and knife? 😀

by metsandfinsfan k

Yes it's the intelligent people that don't vote!

That’s quite a stinging analysis of my simple math. Anecdotal evidence only from the poker table says 1/9 is pretty close to the ratio of shitty people to good people. I thought I was being generous that only 12% of voters are of below AVERAGE intelligence but you sure proved me wrong.

Cinnamon changes the whole thing to deliciousness, ham or bacon.

How does everyone feel about pineapples on porches instead of pizza?

So let's get this straight, you are claiming that the US has hung people for treason in secret. How recently? Any ideas who it might have been?

Come on, his claim is better than that. He believes that jurors from the Trump trial have been arrested and tried for treason in military courts and that, earlier this month, the military hung voters for treason. All of this to end the deep state control of our government BEFORE Trump, his personal savior, takes office while Biden is still in power. Of course, he is in the loop on this highly sensitive material. Of course, he immediately blabs about it on the internet. And of course, he believes the government will make a public disclosure “in the near future” confirming his bullshit.
