5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Israel provides bomb shelters to its citizens. They sound sirens when rockets are heading towards them. They intercept rockets with iron dome technology

Israel killed another captured POW from Oct 7th in an air strike the other day. barely made the news. I almost missed it.
Don't you think this is gonna happen whether they continue the fight or not? Wouldn't it be better to accept inevitable defeat and save many lives? Have you noticed that conditions have only gotten worse throughout the years? I get keeping up the fight if you are making progress. According to you and your ilk the "Palestinians" are being genocided. It sounds like they are losing badly.

I'm just telling you what is going on in the West Bank. Most Israelis would love to live peacefully with their neighbors. The unfortunate truth is that the fanatics on both sides have created a barrier that will never be crossed again. In situations like this historically the strong conquer the weak. Maybe years from now things will be different.

A large percentage of the dead were affiliated with Hamas in one way or another. What type of serious issues are you talking about? Have you seen any of the Palestine protests on campuses? Do you think if these people were in Gaza they would be helping Hamas? I realize that many of these protestors were there strictly for identity politic reasons.

The number of Arabs killed will be up to the Arabs. Israel lives in a bad neighborhood. They are doing what they have to to survive. If the enemy decides to play nice then the killings will stop.

This is not about revenge. The leader of Hamas went on TV and said there would be more and more Oct 7th style attacks coming. Israel decided it was time to take decisive action. They are absolutely getting revenge but that is far from the goal.

I too would love to live peacefully with my neighbours but I’ve always had eyes on their property and the temptation to raid their house, claim part of their garden as mine and when they fight back, kill some of their kids is too great to resist.
Missing rabbi in UAE has been found murdered, says Israel
Israel has said that a rabbi who went missing in the United Arab Emirates has been found murdered.
Zvi Kogan, an Israeli-Moldovan rabbi who worked in the UAE for an Orthodox Jewish group called Chabad, had not been seen since Thursday, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said, denouncing his death as a “heinous antisemitic terrorist act” and vowing to ensure the perpetrators were brought to justice.
“The state of Israel will use all means at its disposal to bring the criminals responsible for his death to justice,” the prime minister’s statement said.
The UAE foreign ministry did not immediately comment. On Saturday, an Emirati official said the foreign ministry was in touch with Kogan’s family and the Moldovan embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Israeli authorities reissued their recommendation against all non-essential travel to the UAE and said visitors currently there should minimise movement and remain in secure areas.
The UAE normalised relations with Israel in 2020, alongside other countries including Bahrain and Morocco. But the war in Gaza triggered by the Palestinian militant group Hamas’s attack on Israel on 7 October 2023 has sparked rising anger in the Middle East.
