Netflix "Watch Instantly"
I just recently rejoined Netflix and was pleased to see they have added a "Watch Instantly" feature where you can stream a movie over the internet. The selection of movies/shows is subpar, but it's free baby! Well, free as in no extra charge. You can watch 1 hour for every dollar/month your subscription is and it doesn't affect your queued/shipped movies at all. Minuses are that you have to be running Windows and Internet Explorer, but the quality is great! I have a garbage laptop, but it looks the same as a DVD to me and it hasn't skipped/paused/hiccuped once so far.
very weird.
I also stopped watching at end of episode 2
Its just naff
Watched the first 2 of the new Conspiracy Crime Thriller "The Madness" on Netflix. It's decent I will finish it.

Just checked out the trailer and it looks really good.
The Agency is also really good. It's that same sort of dark and mysterious Showtime show that some of their best shows have. But with a super stacked cast!

it def. has a super star line-up.
just watched the first episode, +1, good stuff.
dark, mysterious, i can already see lots of twists and unforeseen stuff happening
who has seen "those about to die"??
not sure myself if i like it ... so prob not. but only watched half of 1 episode
I turned off "Those about to die" when I noticed I was barely paying attention, maybe two episodes in. Gave it a chance because of Hopkins but obviously his role is limited and I didn't really like it. A great many people will have to tell me it's another Rome (which, I guess, also had its share of bad acting and uninteresting storylines) before I try it again.
Cross was all over the place with regards to acting and plotholes but I managed to see that through with half an eye on another screen (got progressively worse imo, even if I already agree on that scene Dominic mentions).

good confirmation, my hard drive thanks you for the extra space it just got ;-)
ok ok ... spoiler but no spoiler, just a heads-up to enjoy:
landman, ep.4, opening scene, lawyer ass whooping ... ****ing freaking amazing !!!
watched just this scene 3 times now ;-)))
The first episode of "Earth Abides" on MGM+ is ok, it's a short 6-episode series about a global pandemic that apparently killed most everyone except for a guy that was snake bit at a cabin in the woods and passed out for X amount of time and then everyone is dead. lol
Some of his choices and missed opportunities are crazy, but I will probably finish it. lol
Smile 2 is on P+ Tomorrow and also Hard Knocks "In Season" on Max.
I liked the first 2 of The Agency.
Smile 2 dragged on for me, and I like the genre.
The Jackal is solid although the last episode had a big wtf moment.
The Yacht Rock doc is good. The Madden limited series is not. It's just one big commercial for EA/Madden.
Madden Ambulance is a video game treasure.
If you liked the Yacht rock doc, check out the Wrecking Crew doc (Original Hollywood session musicians collective. They got a shout out in the YR doc)

That's an excellent doc!
Really enjoyed the first episode of The Agency. It has an aesthetic I like a lot. Found the original French series to be decent but clunky and artless. This version is visually stunning, even when we're just staring at Michael Fassbender's face.
If you guys like the docs on session players, Muscle Shoals is terrific.
