Mine is Perez will get replaced mid way through the season and Lando will actually finally win a race
It clearly wasn't a blind section because that is why it was only a 1 place grid penalty according to the stewards themselves. Also doesn't explain that this has happened several times this season already and never resulted in a grid penalty before. On top of that he got a penalty point on his license and that hasn't ever happened for similar incidents where the faster car was actually on a hot lap. Verstappen in this case isn't even required to get out of the way as they are both on a preparation lap. Stewards have been a joke this entire season with inconsistent penalties but this one is a massive joke. They would 100% not have given it if Max hadn't clinched the title already.

Yeah well, it is not new that drivers try to induce penalties on the others. Max did it literally himself in the race "Did Lando slow down under the yellow flags?"
It's all part of the game. Still whatever George has said in the stewards room, the penalty for Max was complete bullshit without precedents.
No VSC to take Albon's mirror off the track was an inexcusable blunder from racing direction though and caused a lot of damage. I don't suppose it has anything to do with George Russell having done his pitstop before it and being screwed over by a VSC allowing all other to pits with advantage ??!?
It was only dangerous because Russell decided to push with clear view of the three cars going slow. Of course this is suddenly a grid penalty and a penalty point while starting another formation lap with marshalls on the track is a $5000 fine. On top of that guess when was the last time someone got a penalty point for actual impeding a hot lap which is of course much more dangerous? If you guessed never happened then you would be correct. On top of that 17 drivers got noted for driving too slow
Penalty points were introduced in 2014.
Had they been a thing in 2006, Michael Schumacher would’ve had a penalty on top of being demoted to the back of the grid in Monaco.
The Dutch GP in Zandvoort disappears from the calendar. It appears to be the only GP besides Silverstone that coughs up the money without support from the government.
As much as I like my own home GP and the flow of it and the banked corners, it isn't a great circuit for overtaking and side-by-side racing. So whatever, I guess.

I am not and have been a very supportive Lulu fan... but I have to admit, that his early exit from Q2 and his resultant interview were very sad.
I know Sky Sports F1 are the master of making up fights that are not there but can they stop milking this race as an exciting constructors battle?
McLaren has a lot more pace, start 1-2, Leclerc starting last and they have a 21pt lead

happy for McLaren that they won Constructors, albeit I would have been equally happy for Ferrari too.

They could've won both Championships but Max proved too good in the end for Lando but 2025 is going to be a very special and exciting season. That's for sure.

Max is definitely a more consistent driver than Lando and probably also faster still. But also his car was crazy dominant early on and the championship was basically over by the time McLaren caught up. Lando still makes too many mistakes though and Max very rarely does, outside of his over aggressiveness
I would love to see Max, Lando and Charles all in relatively similar/competitive cars next year

Thanks to Verstappen, all that needed to happen was for Norris and Sainz to swap positions and Ferrari would have won the Constructors title.
