Does anyone have experience with dog vertigo? I took him to the vet in the middle of the night fearing a stroke. The next step is a head scan, but it sounds like there is nothing they can do if it's a tumor.

Same as RED. Best of luck!

He actually seems fine today, but thank you.

Talked to the breeder (sorry I didn't adopt). It could be an ear issue, but zero other symptoms. The ER vet made it seemed like this was common knowledge about vertigo.

Sorry, he's 10, but very active. I am sure there are pics of him in this thread.

It's vestibular disease. The good news is that as long as it's not a brain tumor, it's not bad. It's just scary as hell. The vet asked if his eyes were twitching (like he was dizzy). I thought it was a stroke, so I was looking for pupil dilation.

He's doing well aside from a little drool and his back legs slipping.

Thank for the well wishes.

Dang! That was a new one for me, and it sent me to the Google. I was afraid he had been cursed by an Episcopalian priest. Hoping the cause is something benign. You guys have fun!

Sorry, Tom, that sucks.

Good luck Randall. Hope you’re able to find a new normal.

Oh wait, it's Randall ...sorry, Randall!

No worries Dom. I shared the update in case anyone else experiences this. It is definitely scary, but hopefully not serious.

Had a christmas movie marathon with friends Saturday. Christmas pj's, potluck lunch/dinner, and some games as well.

Parker came along with me, and needed to wear his own Christmas pjs.

Cuteness overload!

That's too much cuteness to exist in the world

Good looking pooches.
Is he going to California with a Band-Aid on his knee?

by blacklab k

whelp, those smootching pooches sure look more than a couple of years apart
funny how youngsters somehow seem to transfer puppy energies into elder joints via direct canine intrusion

blacklab, looks like you're giving them both the best fat slice of the life pie that you can
standing now to applaud you

Dog on the right Tucker had just come back from the vet so Luna had to inspect him on return.
Bandage is over a growth that he had removed on the next trip to the vet a few days later.

👍

Hey guys this is Willie

I wish you had put that in spoilers. Now my dogs have seen it and are demanding their quarters be upgraded.

Willie looks like a good boy leading a good life!
