GGPoker shady dealings: Should we really trust them?

This is misleading, technically I think you can have a tracker in the background, but it’s not allowed to overlay anything or display stats on top of the gg client, I’d suggest if you want to avoid being banned you just don’t have any software open period.

Nothing changed on that part. It wasn't possible to use a commercial trackers hud with gg before this sheetshow.

You can't, without being good and breaking at least one rule (the bumhunting, table selection rule). Or being a real cheater. Rake's too high.

I wonder if/when Peter Clarke will be banned for publicly making a challenge over destroying 100nlz on GG, by playing an MDA-based strategy.

i personally have a feeling 80% of my money come from Japan.

I had 4 tournaments running when I guess my internet disconnected for couple of seconds. Three of the tables started running again but one kept frozen. I restarted the software but couldn't login for the next 1,5 hours even though my connection was fine. Restarted the computer and everything, re-installed the software, tried with my other computer, nothing.

They don't reimburse anything because "the problem was my connection". About $3500 in EV gone with the wind. Didn't even get the buy ins back.

What a joke of a site this is.

Don't have mobile client for situations like this. Blame the site. Make a random number for internets. Lol.

How tf should I know I need a mobile client because their shitty software crashes for 1,5 hours after a two second disconnect. I already have another computer for "situations like this". I know you would be as pissed if you lost $0.10 in your 1cnt games so don't victim blame you ****.

Micro disconnections do totally * up the client and sometimes you can't re/login for hours for no known reason.

It should tell smthing, how little a gambling site boasting hundreds of mirrions puts into basic software quality/ integrity

They are shady. But not by rigging the all-ins in microstakes tournaments

There is something very suspicious about hands like this. His VPIP was 36% because he limped all game. So now he decides to call an all in with 7 4 off with 3 players to act? There is no reasonable explanation for his action.

It's a $1 tournament , you won't always find logic in decision making

As much as i would like to agree with you on some point your brought but in KYC case GGpoker takes their KYC policy completely serious than most other online Casinos

Let me explain you couple basic stuff regarding KYC in Online I-gaming world .

Most Online Casinos allow you to Create an account , Become a Member , Even in most cases you are able to deposit into your casino account wallet and wager your balance without anyone bothering or causing player any hard times .

BUT when it comes to Withdrawal is where Casinos become totally restrict and serious and try to throw every road block in front of player to get them distracted , have their transactions delayed or refuse to pay them because of KYC policy .

KYC is almost a backhand tool for most casinos to refuse to pay the players who logged in from restricted countries and their kyc fails . Unfortunately most players don't read the legal and ethical requirements that financial institutions (FIs) must follow to verify their clients and just because they were allowed to the site doesn't mean you are allowed to do hit n run as well .

In GGpoker Instance they not only do basic Level 1 /2 KYC identity verification , they will ask user to provide them proof of bank financials from their resident country and proof of lengthy residency ( this has happened to couple of my friends who live in EU or Asia )

The Main problem with GGpoker is refusing to let the player to withdraw their funds instantly and delay their process that takes over 48 hours to a week after you request a withdrawal .

VPN is not the issue and let me make this easy on you . VPN doesn't MASK your geological location and main location can easily be detected

There are Ai-Powered technologies such as Device fingerprinting , Bio-metric identification , browser fingerprinting , that are Preventing multi-accounting and can accurately flag a multiplayer . Those Technologies not only record the history of your hardware serial numbers , they record a player behavior of how they hold their mouse or mobile devices . the amount of pressure the use to press , which pixels are mainly being used by your mouse cursor , what games they mainly play and so on and can profile a player by their habits .

They have all these tools to prevent bots and frauds and make everyone feel more secure in online world and still they dont care about your well being and security .

WHY ? Cause chaos generates more rake for them and they are making double the triple the amount of profit by letting army of BOT farms actively play on their sites .

They don't take KYC serious at all are you serious? They pretend to take it serious though. I'd guess 20-30% of any MTT on there are Americans playing from America.

Trusting GG is absolutely retarded and it's a shame they've became the leader of poker. Site is ran by scumbags and there is a whole bunch of weird scumbag stuff going on. Let's not forget they were hacked and people could see the run out %'s and they tried to hide and bury it. If it happened once....

Just FYI I used to play tournaments at GG up to $50 but after too many hands like this I now only play micros. This hand was the straw. I then decided to download the trial version of Holdem Manager after downloading 5 months of hands to see if this was an anomaly. I wanted to download all my hands but didn't realize GG only allows you to download the last 3 months. Anyways when I saw I was only winning 44.8% of my all in equity I have virtually stopped playing at GG, only playing the occasional micro.

How do you think they got spare 500 million dollars to buy the WSOP. rake ?
