Higher of Lower: Random Edition
I'll make a false statement and you guys guess higher or lower. Same deal as the other game basically, except these will be totally random and they won't correlate to the question number at all.
I don't have a set of q's to ask, so this will be mostly just be whatever happens to come to my mind at the time. Let's say if you get to 10 in a row, you win!
1. Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro have collaborated on 9 films together
(Note: they made a short film together in 2015 called The Audition, which I am not counting.)
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Saturn has over 100 moons, whether it's over 150 i've no idea
It's whatever is recognised as the official number by governing bodies. This is not a trick question.
Wasn't suggesting it was a trick question. Not sure how you got there?
I was more wondering about how small they go before they say something is too small to be a moon, even if it is in orbit. Or, maybe they include everything that can maintain an orbit, regardless of size. IDK but it seems important to think about after seeing the 150 number.

I just didn't want there to be any confusion as to what isn't and isn't a moon. Like if there are some sources saying one number and other sources saying a different number because they classify moons differently or whatever. That's all I was saying.
if I had to pick I'd say lower
lower
Correct! It has 146 moons, the most of any planet in the solar system.
New question a little later.
So not 12
6. The Eiffel Tower has 1700 steps, from the ground to the top
no idea
lol
I've done it a fw times
And literally no idea + no frame of reference
How high is it?
An average house has like 15 steps between floors
1700/15=113.333
Do we think the Eiffel Tower is higher or lower than 113 "floors"
if ya'll waited to answer for a few more days, the moons may have moved to over
1,700 seems like a lot, i'd lean lower but no idea really
No idea on this one.
yh I'd shoot for lower
I don’t know if the 15 steps thing is right, but the Sears Tower has 108 floors. Pretty confident the Eiffel Tower isn’t taller than the Sears Tower.
I used to take the stairs at work when I was downtown and it definitely seemed like more than 15 steps per floor. I’d guess that each flight itself had 12-15 steps and there were two flights between floors with a landing between them.

I know (no research) that step risers are in the 7.5inch range (+ or -), so 7.5 x 1700 = 12,750 / 12 = 1062ft. So that would be not out of whack 113 floors if you think 10feet per floor.
Not that this helps us much, because if I was up top I couldn't tell 1000 feet from 500 feet or 1500 feet unless there were some buildings right across the street....lol

Sears Tower is like 1,400 feet tall, so this math at least makes me feel better about us not saying that Eiffel is taller. And maybe at work there was a floor entrance on each landing; now I can’t remember, so this calculation helps. I just remember those stairs kicking my ass every morning climbing up to 13.
My lucky coin has spoken, I flipped and it landed on tails for LOWER
Feels like lowers the one
I can get behind lower.
