Is it? Israeli has assassinated Americans recently with very minimal media response and no demands from the administration for accountability or justice or revision of policy. You are supporting a regime which has committed genocide and wanton acts of deadly terrorism on civilian populations. In other words you're an evil person. You being evil doesn't mean your literal threat is automatically credible, but it means your death wish against Victor is very credible. In my view, issuing credible death wishes against posters is pretty far beyond the pale.

Many agree with your about the overbearing moderation dictating what grown adults can and can't say to each other, but it is what it is.
However, when you post something like "I hope that xyz doesn't happen to you" it's quite ambiguous and can easily be interpreted a certain way, and is often meant in that way. So that one's on you for not being clearer when you know what the rules around here are.

Jal, I don't think you got it. I do not care about being banned. I was a part of the 2+2 community 15 years ago, and left poker altogether around that time. Im happy posting here and debating this issue with people who hold all different viewpoints, but it will make zero impact on me if im not welcomed here. As such, I will be posting how I see fit. I explained the Vic post not for the mod, but for Vic himself and any else that believed I threatened him in any way.
BTW, if I had been interested in doing something to someone, I would not have posted about it on a public forum. that is not the modus operandi we follow (not saying I would ever do something or even capable of doing something)
Just a few almost final numbers from the Lebanon front-
VIc claimed Hezbollah destroyed 36 or 39 Israeli Tanks. in reality 0 (zero) tanks were destroyed. A few were hit, but hardly damaged and all are still in active service.
5 D9 were destroyed, a few more suffered a decent amount of damage. either than that, a few hammers and jeeps were destroyed. Overall, the most one-sided war in history probably.

He is more than in his right to call me evil. It's childish and somewhat comes off as a tantrum more than an argument, but it's a fair viewpoint.

We were only stopped in Lebanon by our government. We easily reached the Litany River, some units operated northern to it. Hezbollah operatives ran away, and we had almost no resistance.
We killed almost 4,000 Hezbollah operatives.
We lost (sadly) 73 soldiers.

yes. the Lebanese people did not want the war considering the civilian cost. this is why Israel deliberately uses terror to kill civilians. Hezbollah listened to the civilians and wanted to protect them from Israeli terror.

I could care less how you criticize me or my peers. My unit is now back home, but we have friends still in Lebanon, operating next to and northern to the Litany. they are destroying every Hezbollah infrastructure.
Claiming that Hezbollah stopped us is almost as silly as claiming that Japan really showed the Americans by destroying the 2 atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

the ceasefire does not stipulate that we don’t destroy infrastructures. That is one of the reasons we demanded a 60 days window, to ensure that we get as much as possible. we are not fighting anymore and we uphold that part.
