I dont know the exact context of your Turkey related post, but my understanding is that even in its early history when Turkey was more secular and pro Western; it still was extremely nationalistic and undertook severe repression and human rights abuses of its minority populations, including actual genocide much worse than what is going on in the Palestinian Territories (as evidenced by population collapse of minority groups).
Western society is a little more jaded now, and more or less looks the other way when "allies" commit human right abuses, but at the time was more idealistic; so this was a big reason to be "unwelcoming."
Also, for geopolitical reasons Israel has always been restrained in how it can respond to rhetoric and actions taken against them. I dont see how Turkey becoming more influential would change much in this respect.
I dont think Western society is superior and certainly not "inherently" which could be construed some pretty bad ways fwiw
Ironically, the elites everywhere else clearly disagree with this; which is a big reason why Western society has as much leverage as it does with nations like Russia, Iran and China; even while their actual economic/military influence has waned. Because their elites dont want to end up shunned from polite society.
Russia can make all the economic and military alliances it wants with North Korea and Iran; but the elites would never want their children to grow up in those places like they do with England and France. And wanting to be reintroduced back into polite society is as much an incentive for Putin to seek a resolution to the Ukraine mess (that allows him to save as much face as possible) as anything.
The western society is inherently superior. You would have known that, If you ever travelled or lived in any part of the world.
Take a year to do so, speak to people who live in different parts of the world, and then lets continue this conversation
I'd dispute that. Things are different and "superiority" is a stupid word to use because it's meaningless, but it says much about the people who use it in this context.

He was taking the piss, Jasus. Israel isn't committing genocide. Being in the IDF doesn't make one evil by virtue of the fact.
So anyone can say anything and if they say "oh I was just taking a piss" it's forgiven? I don't think that's how things work, but from your denial of the factual genocide committed by Israel, you're obviously in the "say anything" mode of communication. You have devoted yourself to the principle of violence over understanding and what you say is proudly disconnected from reality. With your denial of genocide you are asserting that might make right and words don't matter. Maybe you are right about that dynamic but your words certainly don't matter once you go that route. I don't listen to Netanyahoo speak because there is no information in what he says. The same goes for his ghoul nation of sycophants. There is no information in your words and no ideas, only hatred.
I won't review here the facts of the genocide case against Israel any more than I would review the facts of the Holocaust to a Holocaust denier. Great company you keep btw.

Sounds like you're the one who needs to experience different countries rather than adopt the childish position of "mine is always superior".
You claim to have been to several countries in West Africa but didn't know where West Africa is.
What were you doing in those countries? Spying?
what are you on about? I asked where you lived in west africa, as i travelled threw some of the countries.
