I believe it is called war correspondent when it is your side, and combat propaganda when it is the other side. And given you have posted more PIJ and Hamas produced war propaganda (all the videos with the red arrows showing guerilla attacks on IDF soldiers and tanks) than everyone else in this thread combined, your question seems very bad faith.

And lets pretend for a second they were just PIJ affiliated journalists analogous to the ebedded "war correspondents" that were prevalent embedded in US forces in the Vietnam war. I am sure if/when VietCong attacks killed such correspondents, you would have considered it completely justified, correct?

I think they were probably just rank and file PIJ guerrillas that put on press jackets to move around more freely. But given PIJ readily admits they are part of their "journalism" division; saying they were just the guys who produced the red triangle videos and didn't otherwise actively participate in guerrilla activities is probably the most generous opinion of what their actual job was.

The reality is you and I have no clue what the truth is. And we never will.

Anyways, I kind of think all the hostages should be given back. PIJ and Hamas (and all similar resistance groups) should disband; and some Palestinian leadership group actually interested in peace should negotiate a 2 state solution moving forward. But that is just my thoughts.

And the entire world should work together to make sure guerrilla groups dont hijack the peace process.

But of you think things are going fine with the UN supported resistance, then that is your prerogative.

these must be some of the most talented people in history to work full time doctors, nurses, paramedics, or journalist AND act as guerilla soldiers against a highly mechanized invader.

We do know they chose to work for a terrorist group more radical than Hamas. Very likely they actively helped in the war efforts. Whether it was behind a gun, merely intelligence gathering, or propaganda dissemination, they were legitimate targets.

Journalist protection either does not, or at least should not, cover those who work for a terrorist organization. They are providing material support. This makes them legitimate targets.

That's not the point. The point is that health care workers are people, too, and they can also be terrorists or give material support to terrorists.

Mistakes happen during war, there is no denying that. Nobody has to die, nobody should be dying. There should be peace. Maybe, one day, there will be peace. But this is impossible so long as Hamas exists.

You continue to post Hamas propaganda that is untethered to facts or reality. You continue to view the actions of Hamas only in the most positive and pure of ways. My interpretation, and feel free to change my opinion, is that you support Hamas more than the people of Gaza. Because if you truly supported the people of Gaza you would understand they only have a future if Hamas ceases to exist.

You could say the exact same thing about PIJ and it would be 100x more true.

Here is what the main stream media doesn't tell you. First, the more dead civilians the more money Hamas gets from the West. Hamas knows this. Hamas knows they can't beat Israel in a conventional war. They do know that people are easily brainwashed and influenced. It makes sense for Hamas to continue to have civilians in the areas where they are fighting the IDF. If they truly cared they would evacuate these people. This leads to point number two. The children who are dying aren't who you think. IDF soldiers over and over will be on an operation against Hamas and come across a child who fires a weapon at them. It's sad but when bullets are flying people are dying.

Honest question - honest meaning can we just set any debating competitiveness aside for a second and be honest - by what authority or assumption would you tell me not to bother about where my tax money goes and what conflicts my country engages? Journalists and health care workers aren’t exempt from aiding Hamas, especially when the division between civilian and combatant is purposefully blurred. The reason there isn’t more hand-wringing about it is because it’s been a routine part of the terrorist playbook forever.

He was expelled from the Labour Party for "harassment" and "abusive language", over allegations of antisemitism. When a bunch of antisemites call you an antisemite, that is quite impressive.
Greenstein sued the Campaign Against Antisemitism for libel over its claim that he was a "notorious antisemite". The High Court dismissed the claim. What a cry baby.
Greenstein was given a 9 month prison sentence, suspended for two years, for his part in a Palestine Action attack on the factory of Elbit Systems. He's been a criminal since he was a squatter.
Greenstein was arrested for a “racially aggravated” offence while protesting outside the official London residence of Israeli ambassador Tzipi Hotovely. This man has no redeeming qualities.

Then, in November 2024, Greenstein was charged with a terrorism offence under Section 12(1) of the terrorism act. Greenstein was accused of supporting the proscribed militant group Hamas. The letter instructed Greenstein to attend a police station on November 27, “where the charge will be read to you and you will be released under the same bail conditions as you are currently on.”

He is not in jail. He has not been convicted. But, he is a constant provocateur. If he is the sort of person you admire, then that says a lot.

Should he go to jail? Not my country, not my laws. My guess is no jail, but I truly don't care. However, I am sure if he lived in Gaza and sent out a tweet against Hamas, then he would be hanging dead in some center square somewhere. I am guessing you would be fine with that.
