we took Mose to the farm this weekend. not 'the farm' farm, but the in-law's place (where Swaz lived)...and his favorite place on earth.
he turned 14 a couple of months ago and this may be his last trip until the ashes.
he's had TPL surgery on both back legs, the most recent five years ago, the oldest seven. not surprisingly arthritis has taken over and he's prone to falling down, hence the harness. you can tell by his crooked stance from behind

Red, I'm so sorry for your loss. Mose such a good dog.
The gold dog died on W's second inauguration day, so that long ago. Every once in a while, something will still set me off.

That's a good question! It doesn't even look like his gift has been opened. Is he waiting for permission to open it?
They each got a big bone they had just finished. He needed to wait a while before getting another.

he's been gone over a year now and we still haven't erased it
and spouse returned the favor and gave me a surprise xmas present with an assist from her sister the artist.
