General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of NBC)comedies on tv yet no threads.
Just an observation.
Kind of eager to start One Hundred Years of Solitude
Decided to finish off a few shows that I let slip after certain points. Up first is The Handmaid's Tale, then The Americans.
Did anyone else keep watching The Handmaid's Tale? I dipped out after season 2 because... I don't really remember, but I watched a couple of recap videos for seasons 1 and 2 and am actually surprised I quit. That said, there have been a couple of points during season 3 where I probably would've stopped if I was watching it on a week to week instead of a binge.

I almost gave up too but if you turn your brain off, the ride of the later seasons is decent. It's now a show to binge though, otherwise the little things are not easy to let go.
Final season of Handmaid's Tale is coming soon. I'm waiting for that to finally watch it.
Saw the first season, but meh. I like my porn without torture tyvm
Had a recent long plane flight, and one of the entertainment options was S7 of Veep.
Holy ****. Amazing how prescient, considering it was filmed in 2019. Really good, especially looking at what we're now considering reality.
Intercontinental with United? Rewatched the full season 7 on a UA flight 2 weeks ago.
FWIW, Julia Louis-Dreyfus mentioned in an interview that reality passed them up after season 6 so there was no real reason for another season after 7.
Great episode of The Agency this week
Watched La Palma past few days. Easy to watch. A little silly but something not bad to get thru on vacation.
UA had a huge selection of HBO shows in the past. Unfortunately that has gotten pretty limited over the last couple of years. But at least they always have The Big Lebowski and Die Hard.
Since AA started with AppleTV+ there have been a couple instances where I signed up for a month to finish watching a show that I started on a flight.

There were quite a few lulls in seasons 3 and 4, but after the end of episode 2 of season 5... This could be fun.
Say Nothing hooked me immediately. I thought it might be a difficult binge with it being heavy but I just keep wanting to watch the next episode.
Watching Derry Girls right after Say Nothing was a very good idea lol
French drama, Dark Hearts - about a special ops team fighting ISIS in Iraq.
Omg they cancelled Outer Range?
That'll go alongside Night Sky and Counterpart as recent Sci-Fi ones I'm so heart broken never continued.
On Episode 8 of Silo S2. Has anything happened this season? It doesn't seem like it.

Its clear they had an interesting concept with no actual direction. Season 2 was a full blown flounder that left us with no more answers and many more questions from season 1
is outer range still worth watching, never heard of it until now - trailer i watched just now looked terrible
