grinding micro stakes mtt 2025, goal 400-5k
hey,
I'm a micro player from Belgium playing micro stakes MTT up to 11$, in 2025 my goal is too get the bankroll too 5k.
Started a week ago with 400$ on 4 diferent sites: GG, BWIN, UNIBET and POKERSTARS
Had some good runs the past days and the current bankroll is 971.75$
Who am I?
-physiotherapist, 31, live in Belgium, working 50-60hrs/wk
-playing poker for 10 years, never take it seriously.
-playing soccer, cycling a lot, fitness
Goals?
-making money strictly playing online micro and low stakes mtt
-max 1% of bankroll buy ins
-updating this thread after every session
-playing 2-3 mtt sessions a week
-Live tournaments will be mentioned but not take into account for the bankrollchallenge

Just home from work. in 30 min the first grind of the year will begin. Play the hole day, max 8 (10 if much non turbos/hypers on the moment) tables.
First session of 2025 was a little bit frustrating, massive coolers. But after all I enjoyed the grind today!
3th in a small unibet mtt early on in the session coudn't make up for the losses.
Good BRM will avoid problems though!

I'm a little bit struggling with long grinds on weekdays, short nights, long workdays...
I'm happy with the way I play, was very calm and in full focus. Many mincashes and bountys, but no deepruns. Small winning day tho!

3rd session of 2025 in the books. A small evening grind. Losing day, small field tournaments doesn't work out for us. 1 semi deep run in the 3.3 new year series with an awfull last hand.

Yesterday
played only 11 tournaments and no success. Lose like 40$
Today
Played from noon to late in the evening.
Play 8 tournaments at the same time. Sell some % on GG for 15-25$ mtt , some mincashes everywhere. All by all a fine day.
Overall we are 488$ in the green since we started tis bankrollchallenge.
Tomorrow we try the same we did today, but with winning

Why are you selling to games outside of your bankroll? Are there not enough games that fit your BRM?
To reduce the impact on our bankroll but still be able to play those games? Abi is like 4$, this big field tournaments with lots on top are high variance, mixing it up with lower field sizes on partypoker and unibet (and stars most of the time). It doesn't make sense for you?
