OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

We had PDQ in Austin for a while and I really liked it a lot. Gone from here, but glad to hear others are still enjoying the goodness.
I use to eat at the oldest existing McDonalds in Downey CA. I lived a few miles away.

I can't even tell you when the last time I carried any Coin currency. I still have a jar full sitting in my closet that I haven't added to or taken out of for a decade or two.

I don't know if you ever go back to that area. There is a large shopping and entertainment complex now there.
BTW, I still go to my dentist in Downey. I always hit up Bob's Big Boy for lunch.

My kids literally don't even use paper money. They just gave me their Christmas money in exchange for Venmo.
Yeapers... I worked there from just pre STS1 to just slightly post STS1. My mom is the one that got me that job because she was in Management there going back to Apollo.

Me neither. I hate when I sometimes go to stores that are cash only. They give me clinky sounding change.
I'm with you on that. Then I have to remember to bring it to Costco to give to the cashier.
One more patty and it would have been the same amount of beef as a Double QPC
