I very much prefer guaranteed cashout in fiat 10min-24h from real poker site rather than begging for my money from my affi in usdt.

Bankroll management refers to your strategy for what games you play in as a percentage of your bankroll.
You're talking about money management for online gambling, which is a worthy topic, but thread title is misleading.

Personally am lazy and use mainstream exchange Gemini, they charge fee equivalent to $25 on $1700 to sell the btc for usdt, then withdraws are free and take 1-3 business days (seems they credit within a day now that I've done it before). I'd be interested to know other mainstream exchanges ppl are using that have similar low fees, I know coinbase cut off poker players years ago.

There are p2p websites you can use to swap crypto for fiat where users are verified/rated so the risk is very low. On twoplustwo, there are two threads for poker transfers, you can use those to find a long term trade partner that needs the opposite of what you need (emphasis on *find* because there are plenty of scammers including ones that target poker players).

This feels a bit like spam, IMO. But if it is legit, I'm not sure NVG is the place for it; I'll leave it to mods here to decide that. 😀

It is a scam, 100%. He is trying to lure you to download an app that can steal crypto wallet data. This post should be deleted. A similar discord user was trying to scam this player from this post :

Thanks! But I disagree it should be removed; I think it should remain so there's another opportunity for others to be made aware in case someone else tries it. I have removed his Discord name (lagpoker) now from the OP, however, so no one who reads only the first post won't add him.

I have seen so many scammers post here its quite alarming. its nice when they are obvious but what about the less obvious ones

How would that work exactly? You would need to print crypto from thin air and other players would need to treat it with value.

Its like app poker club where house players would be playing with free chips, and new players would need to swap real money to those same chips.

but all the guns in the world will not help you when inflation due to out of control money printing reaches a point that it's not sustainable anymore and people revolt (check Venezuela in 2018, 1 mio % inflation at that point).

That doesn't seem especially important, since many people can change their IPs fairly easiy. In other words, whether he/she was IP banned or not, you should assume he/she could come back any time they want. And regardless, I'm sure there are hundreds more scammers just like them. :(

Love that folks won’t accept a govt fiat currency which is indirectly backed by the world economy. The govt can certainly devalue the dollar by printing more. But the govt can and does tax the national GDP to pay off debt. Not perfect but there is something backing up the dollar.

BTC is literally a fiat currency backed by nothing. Sure it can never be devalued by printing more but there is nothing backing it up. It doesn’t have any inherent value to devalue. It only has value if you can find someone who gives it value on the other side of the trade. It is literally defined by the greater fool theory.

Its backed by scarcity.

Its value cannot be diluted. That is what the scarcity gets you. But the value is only what some counter party gives. Scarcity does not ensure value but it protects against dilution. Its value depends on someone willing to pay more.

OTOH the dollar certainly can and has been diluted. But its value comes from the full faith and credit of the US. This gives the dollar value through the taxing power of the govt to access wealth of the economy. So yes it has been diluted
