Hello and welcome to the arena!

Previous High Stakes thread: *** December 2024 High Stakes Thread ***

: : :

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here!

:

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Converter from Pokeit https://pokeit.co/convert/ with wide variety of supported games, multiple hand conversion, etc.

Another converter: http://www.railhand.com

Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.

Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

nobody in Florida does drugs "recreationally"

Bathsalts?

If he is a black dude with dreads (who does drugs recreationally and lives in Florida*) he's probably having a damn good time doing it. Sounds rad

Nah it's a troll by kaki, he just switched out the names. It's a old hand from 18 years ago between durr and phil ivey before people found out you could overbet the turn. Classic top pair cooler.

Nah it's a troll by kaki, he just switched out the names. It's a old hand from 18 years ago between durr and phil ivey before people found out you could overbet the turn. Classic top pair cooler.

Super interesting hand from the sickest redline reg of all time. I'm trying to piece together the logic behind the play - this is the best I can come up with.

At 127bb eff I think its safe to assume AsianFlushie has an overbet range on turn- lets just say its a two size approach with B75 and overbet (though maybe he has even more sizes).

If LLinus thinks that AsianFlushie is more likely to put his thick value with Ad into the B75 line (AdK, Ad5, Ad2, AdXd) then he could think AsianFlushie is not going to have proper nutted hands to call a turn XR + river shove when LLinus has the Ad. If he think he can get his opponent to fold AT-AQ at a high freq then this could be an absolute printer bluff.

but surely you mean on diamond rivers, not bricks?!

but surely you mean on diamond rivers, not bricks?!

It won't even speculate what he would do on diamond rivers.

I just mean that if flushies B75 2pair+ range mainly contains the Ad (since I would think A5 no diamond almost pure overbets turn for example), then when LLinus has the Ad he removes all the 2p+ that always snap calls off on river.

I'm sure there's more levels to this play that I can even understand. For the example he also gets value from other big diamond draws / pair + diamond draws that hes ahead of.

My read is that its a merge on turn and then premium bluff candidate on river.

river is another attempt at merging, I don’t think I’m a fan though, feel like asianflushie too good to get exploited this hard
