Were you making fun of my sentence structure? The point is that it only behooves someone to disavow a vile accusation brought about by a random mishap, if he agrees that the accusation is plausible. If not it makes more sense to ignore it.

People who accidently do something that is obviously bad if it was done on purpose, often have a perfectly good reason to avoid telling the world it was an accident. This case may be an exception. But in general it is quite reasonable if the action was something that the perpetrator had a right to assume that others should realize could virtually never occur except by accident. To make a statement that verifies that it was an accident is to acknowledge that the theory that the action was pupose

And I don't think he was too astonished that they would spin it like they did, I certainly wasn't because that's what the fake mockingburd propaganda media does, lie to benefit their own narrative and anything to make the Trump administration look bad.

There is absolutely no reason he couldn't say "I understand why people might think that's what I was doing based on how it looked, but it absolutely was not my intention to imply that I sympathize with a movement that intentionally murdered millions of people simply for being part of an ethnic group."
The last part is a little wordy, but it emphasizes why it would be the right thing to do. If anyone even thought I sympathized with that group, I would be in front of the first camera and microphone I could find to distance myself from the idea. I'm sure you would, too, right?

What he is doing with Tesla / Space X, Rockets and Starlink is absolutely incredible and necessary.
So the money spent on space exploration is going to help the survival of our species more than just using that money directly on addressing the problems on Earth now while also not further polluting the environment?
