Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.
Tory leadership contest is quickly turning into farce. Trump has backed Boris, which should be reason enough for anyone with half a brain to exclude him.
Of the other candidates Rory Stewart looks the best of the outsiders. Surprised to see Cleverly and Javid not further up the betting, but not sure the Tory membership are ready for a brown PM.

Regarding the LD leadership contest, Jo Swinson is miles ahead of any other candidate (and indeed any of the Tory lot). Should be a shoe in.
Finally, it's Groundhog Day in Labour - the more serious the anti-Semitism claims get, the more Corbyn's cronies write their own obituary by blaming it on outlandish conspiracy theories - this week, it's apparently the Jewish Embassy's fault...

Man if you check the demographics of british crime, it's very clear it's carribean blacks and other immigrants (compared to centuries ago) that commit more than the average, and you know that.
That's immigration and it stays as immigration even if they become "citizens".
Everytime anyone commits a crime whose ancestors centuries ago weren't local to the british islands, that's a crime committed because of immigration

Aside from the fact that in the USA, blacks commit an order of magnitude more crimes even controlling by income (poor whites commit less crimes than rich black in the USA), even if it was exclusively about poverty, and maybe it is for the UK, it's still about immigration of poor people.
Stop letting any poor people in and you would get less crime. Especially if even after several generations poverty doesn't solve itself!!! ESPECIALLY if you believe your society has too low social mobility, then it's absolutely indispensable NOT to take poor people in.
