Based on recent posting history it looks like there's not much besides complaining and negativity. It's not even the usual "everything was better before" but "everything was bad back then and it didn't get any better".
I know this is probably not the place but having to click on replies everytime to read a reply to a post on the new forum is an absolute awfull feature.

Ah, right, it's very reasonable to ask for a "list of terms and types of statements that are deemed political". 🙄
Not liking the "no politics" rule I can understand even though I don't agree (IE I think the rule is good in this forum). Asking for lists of what is or is not across an obviously subjective line is ridiculous.
Surely there are plenty of people who have gotten dinged for political posts in NVG so the idea that you can't produce even a few examples seems pretty lazy of you.

Nobody said they can't produce an example. To see something that wasn't acceptable, just check the thread in question.

marknfw was talking about four spam posts, by different(?) spammers, that were deleted; as are many others almost every day.
There's an "invisible" thread in NVG to which deleted spam threads are often moved because mods can see deletion markers and sometimes they interrupt the visual flow of the forum. There are about 400 of them in there so far this year.
Max has written a program that auto-deletes the spam within minutes, but the spammers apparently just drop their trash and move on to **** in other forums without realising they're totally wasting their time here.
Is that the deleted thread named "Poll:" by Jamescorner? I've often wondered why that thread is always near the top of the page, instead of disappearing over time as other deleted threads do.
For those confused, mods can see the existence of deleted threads/posts site-wide, but we can't see inside them except in the forum(s) we moderate.

Thank you Mike Haven for your time and patience with me. Mike was very patient and set up very coordinated conversation with basis points for his reasoning and everything. We are very blessed to have someone like Mike who has VERY HIGH intelligence based on my communication with him. What I realized is that I was being inconsiderate to the mods on the forum and how hard you guys work to make this forum amazing and functional. My anger got the best of me and I realized I can take this as a learning experience. The thing I realized is that I didn't realize the time and effort the mods make as far as the responsibility and time they put in.
Big Beautiful Bill (now passed) thread has become just an anti-Trump hate screed thread, why is it not moved to politics already? Or is “politics” allowed in NVG now?
I don't mind the insults in the thread. Please let the posters say what they want I just want honest imput. This is vevry important, if other posters want to insult me and hate me that is ok I don't care. I just want to state my opinon and they can say whatever they want. We should have a an open discussion so we can work together and learn.

Madlex is ignoring the "no personal attacks" part. Just look at all the Dominic posts. e.g. "says all the dumbass, fascist, racist poker players on 2+2"
Agreed, looks like a bunch of mentally unstable people have taken over the thread. Might be best to hide them in Political where they usually reside instead of front page in NVG.
