The idea that Zionists should violently ethnic cleanse millions of people from where they and their ancestors lived for thousands of years in order to build some ethnically/racially pure fascist state is as bad an idea as there ever was. It's about the nut low idea which can be actually executed en mass, that you could actually get millions of the beneficiaries to get behind. It's better than the ideas of, say, Jim Jones, but the number of people you can get into a mass suicide cult is (I think) pretty well capped. Maybe you could argue North Korea's ideology is worse but it's close.
And the fact that these two have nukes...what are they going to do if they get desperate enough? If Israel's ethnic cleansing project fails do you think they will leave us unscathed? I think they would smuggle a nuke into the U.S. and frame Muslims. And if you think that's beyond them you are either brainwashed or not paying attention to these Zionists critters.

To really answer your question, the developed world started moving away from the concept of things like "a Christian State" in the pre-modern era. Generally they inevitably lead to the kind of ethnic violence that Israel is currently inflicting on Palestine.

In the year 2024 if one were to criticize fundamentalist religious oriented states that misbehave, there are a tremendous number of examples, almost all of them Muslim (including Gaza FWIW). If Hamas doesn't have any more live hostages to exchange, Israel should stop giving them prisoners. I truly don't understand what Israel gains by liberating terrorists in exchange for dead bodies.
Well, yeah. Generally a lot of criticisms of Israel are valid in a vacuum. But because the person making the criticism normally has blatant ulterior motives and are indifferent towards much worse behavior by the people trying to destroy Israel, they both invalidate their own position and cause a defense mechanism, that can be exploited by bad actors.
Because of such cynical bad faith, most of the selective criticism of Israel is actively making things worse.
