New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

Today's Taco Bell Tuesday drop: $1 Nachos BellGrande.

why wouldn't you?

That looks well made, sans the sour cream.

Tried Chicken Salad Chick for the first time yesterday.Got the Chicken Salad Melt with bacon and cheddar. Literally melted in my mouth. Fruit was fresh. It came with a mini butter cream cookie that was okay. Then I also got their extra large rice krispy treat with chocolate chips that was excellent.

I really like CSC. Kickin’ Kay Lynne is my favorite flavor. BBQ is pretty good too. The pasta salad, broccoli salad, Mac and cheese, and chicken tortilla soup are all worth trying too.

Single El Diablo from Carl for $5.

The fine print:

Too much for me. About the most I can handle is the Angry Whopper, and even that was borderline.

Might have to pay Wendy’s a visit this weekend.

by Booker Wolfbox

Tried the Thin Mint Frosty today, it was fine.
Not life changing, just fine.
Don't think I'd pay the 50 cent upcharge again.

They're a regular Wendy’s Vanilla or Chocolate frosty with a cookie crunchy 'Thin Mint' sauce interspersed thru out.
Gotta scrape the 'Thin Mint' sauce off the sidewalls.
I thought both were very good, if you like Frostys to begin with.
l also didn't like the 50 cent upcharge.

Nice try Wendy's!

Arby's claims BOGO Free ala carte sandwiches thru 3/2 via the app, celebrating the permanent return of potato cakes.

AzOther1,

Saw your post and decided to make a trip (my first in quite some time) to Arby's. The local Arby's had a special offering Regular Roast Beef Sandwiches 4 for $10. Ordered that, and after adding the Potato Cakes $2.49 (they were as good as I remembered), l was in and out for less than $14 and it was more than enough to fill me up.
Racetrack

Good deal tuffbeat! 4 for $10 seems better than BOGO free? I do love the first potato cake, but by the end of the second one, I'm done with that order.

I hit up the redhead last night, Son of Baconator, small fries and a small TM chocolate frosty ($1.20 upcharge for the thin mint), out the drive-thru for $8.88. Next time, I'll stick to the just vaguely chocolate Frosty and save some change.

bought a lottery ticket and won my money back

Saw on the bottom of the screen during the lunchtime news that Del Taco suddenly closed all their CO locations.

I've never been. Did I miss anything?

also no personal visits but my collective memory of other opinions is their burger was the best thing to get from a place with taco in the name

might explain away a few business activities on the eastern rocky plains
