Cutting the VA department is actually kinda cool for completely different reasons than why Trump/Musk would think so. Why should veterans get extra benefits not received by the rest of the populace? They ALREADY get discounts everywhere and fawning praise from random rubes. Is that not enough? Do military members deserve EVEN MORE than that because they happened to be dumb enough to volunteer to get shot at and killed because Dick Cheney wants to maintain his iron grip over Halliburton's board of directors?
They should receive the same universal health care that the rest of us should. That's all.

Economic projections for 2025 look pretty rough at least for regular people. Luckily volatility exploting hedge funds and swampy government contracts with basically no oversight anymore or ethics enforcement look to be incredibly lucrative. I’m still a little skeptical on some of what people are saying is going to be allowed on the contracts side…but I wouldn’t be shocked if they’re right.

If you hire based on merit and don't discriminate, you have meritocracy. They don't call DEI merit based hiring or a meritocracy for a reason. It's not the same thing. It's identity based discrimination. It's just justified by cultural marxist because reasons. If black people get bonus points for being black, then their coworkers and themselves wonder if they're qualified
It's not a hard theory to understand. It's also easy to observe on the internet. They have "DEI" enrollment at colleges and universities. You can get on the youtube right now and see students on campus being interviewed. You can actually see actual non asian or white students wonder out loud if they are an actual "dei" student and not actually know if they were accepted based on merit. That's nice

They are hiring right wing podcasters, billionaires, news anchors, and conspiracy theorists to fill key government positions. JD Vance laid out the plan to "weaponize all the governments agencies against liberals" where they "replace their guys with our guys".

I am not furios because in my world i only exclusively respond of my takes not of those of the group, among the only 2 that can gain power in the USA, i currently find less intolerable in politics.
