President Elon Musk

He probably deserves his own thread at this point, discuss accordingly

I guess it's that Italy is so weak and he worships power so much he looks for a USA tyrant to worship.

Fascism was started in Italy, I just figured there were some remnants.

it's a little boring to answer the same question(s) over and over especially when asked by horrible people in complete bad faith like rainman

Oh, you're bored? Maybe you could consider not being, by like 5x, the most prolific poster in the forum? Wild thought.

you say this as though you yourself are somehow NOT a fascist, which, for you, (to borrow a phrase from the favorite sport of segregationists everywhere), is par for the course

Solid site you got here, Leon

Elon is blaming Ukraine for ddosing twitter

Not only is nearly impossible to track a ddos attack, but saying "they had Ukrainian IPs" is an objectively ******ed thing to say, because I am currently posting from a Ukrainian IP address for the lols

coordi has been compromised by Ukrainian assets

hey get a load of the Ukrainian guy pretending to be coordi

Coordi, why aren't you wearing a suit?

by coordi

coordi has been compromised by Ukrainian assets

so now the choice to mod you makes a lot more sense 😀

by diebitter

Coordi, why aren't you wearing a suit?

I work remotely so I wear t shirt and shorts when its hot, sweats when its cold

Once a month I have a meeting with all the big wigs in our software org, from the VP down

I always throw a branded polo on for that meeting

Late last year I did my spiel and turned off my mic and thought I turned off my webcam to go do something in the other room

I hadn't actually turned off my webcam and exposed to the whole meeting that I was wearing a polo with sweats

I got a lot of (playful) ribbing for that one

by Luciom

Because of the technicalities involved with the validity of the decisions during that interim period.

Which, note well, is also why many/most (?) of the lawsuits have been dropped (by either the plaintiffs or by the judges' decisions) after the properly nominated heads re-affirmed many of the decisions.

lol ok - “technicalities” is one way to put it.

Great plan when you have to lie about who’s making decisions after the fact to psuedo-legitimize them.

It did not a thing to his God complex, but nonetheless he is an ELITE moderator.

I must admit that I am disappointed the story did not end with you going full Jeffrey Toobin. 😃

Why would Elon lie?

He's quickly moving into the Trump category of everything is a lie until proven otherwise.

by AquaSwing

He's quickly moving into the Trump category of everything is a lie until proven otherwise.

That's pretty much been his mo in business. Make wild claims, get loads of cash from investors, underdeliver or keep kicking the can.

But he's just hopelessly optimistic.

Musk tried to get Italian public employees to work

Musk Email Reaches Italian Workers. It Did Not Go Well.
Employees at the Aviano Air Base who serve American forces got a familiar demand to list their achievements. Unions say Italy “is not the Wild West like the U.S.”

Elon Mush

He's getting crazier. Maybe the hair transplants are growing inwards.

is he implying people should immediately stop following his and trumps orders

by Ambush

is he implying people should immediately stop following his and trumps orders

He is implying that if the state is very weak with very few employees, resources and so on, it literally cannot commit mass crimes against its citizens no matter how crazy or evil the leader is.

A strong state with a lot resources is necessary (not sufficient) in order for the worst crimes against humanity in history to take place.

That's a basic libertarian take, uncontroversial among libertarians.

Most people who call themselves libertarian are still in love with the police and military and that's the part of government with guns capable of murdering everyone. And of course Trump is cutting neither. Police funding obviously not, and despite talk of lowering war spending, the budget proposal supported by Trump in Congress rn is an increase in the war budget.

Miniarchist, rightwing leaning libertarians want that power to be diffused though. They dislike uber-powerful federal armed forces. Ron Paul is in favor of cutting defense budget by half for example.

Police is a local matter, and in an actually real federal system, police and state national guards are a counterveiling force to federal armed forces in case of a crazy evil dictator trying to accomplish genocide of, say, texans or californians.
