At least Europe gets to buy all their war equipment from US!

That was when we were their reliable friend. Now they are refocusing on European military production.

Share prices in European weapons companies have soared as investors anticipated significantly higher spending after the UK and France led an effort to form a peace deal for Ukraine.

BAE, Britain’s biggest weapons maker, reported record orders last month

So to maintain our military gdp, we're going to have to start selling to people that are more likely to use the weapons against us (whether directly or indirectly).

I don't think what I said here makes any sense so instead here is a picture of Fidel Castro, who is beloved around the world, except by Capitalist pigs.

See! Trump is open to compromise. You can probably keep the "state" flag too. It would look great flying next to OLD GLORY!

I was thinking briefly about zurvans ground war comment and everything worth having is within fifty miles of the border.

So we'd set up a no-fly zone, shut down all travel, and disallow any and all trucks coming in from our ports to deliver aid and comfort to cadadian ISIS.

A huge open-air prison. Call it the MAGA Strip.

About time we took control of that damn waterfall too. American Falls!

So we're taking

Canadia
Mexico
Panama

I don't understand why we'd continue to allow those bullshit fake countries like Costa Rica and Guatemala, which sounds like a fatty tropical fruit.

So we just expand all the way down to the canal with manifest destiny. What's going to stop us? The cartels are the only well-armed groups and they have no anti-aircraft that I am aware of.

This will be a sick land war though, hand-fighting indigenous tribes in the mountains of Technohuitlan, evading pungee stakes in the jungles of Jalisco.

If the Nagual peyote spirits don't drive you insane, the bite from the Meth Scorpion will.

By contrast, the War of Canadian Aggression will be waged largely by email.

First thing I'd to in response to the ridiculous refusal of Panama to give our canal back, send a ship down there full of Alka-Seltzer and ditch sideways among the locks, making the whole canal fizzy as ****.

Plop Plop fizz fizz bitch.

Oh, they'll say, Trump has lost his rabbit ass mind! 4D Battleship!

I see Schumer bent the knee. Trump is just steam rolling!

I heard if TSLA hits $124 Musk gets margin called and the stock nosedives.

What even is a steam roller? Is it powered by a steam engine? Does it steam the ground like ironing a shirt? Does it go full steam ahead? Does it pick up steam? HOW do you pick up steam? If it lets off steam will it run out of steam?

It involves flatting your opponents into inconsequential noise makers.

If Tesla hits $124 or $150, back up the truck because you're just been handed a huge gift.

The gift of rapidly depreciating securities.

What's the p2e at $124?

Tesla 2024 Q4 Earnings - Shareholder Dec...

Year-over-year figures:

Total automotive revenues: -8%

My god what a dumpster.

Their entire operation is being propped up by their EV-charging market share. Fortunately the US has a steady supply of copper from Canada. Oh, wait...

back up the cybertruck - just be careful not to damage the 3/16th inch aluminum frame!

Furthermore, some sections seem to be held together with glue and rivets.

By comparison, a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with prior damage was subjected to the same test and its steel frame came out unscathed.

If I see a Cybertruck towing on the freeway, I would not want to be anywhere close to that thing

Trump to Panama: "kick out China, or else we're taking over"
Panama: "okay"

Trump: "accept our deportees, or else"
Panama: "okay"

Trump: "lol we're still coming in, losers"

Politics thread is the Tesla thread

Remember the infamous "Peace for our time" paper that Chamberlain held up?

We're the other guy.

Politics thread is the Tesla thread

BTW that other guy is Javier Milei - the president of Argentina. Seems like a real charming fellow, fitting neatly into this cadre:

During the 2010s, Milei achieved significant notoriety and public exposure in debates featured on Argentine television programmes characterized by insults to his rivals,[30][31][32] foul language,[33][34] and aggressive rhetoric when expressing and debating his ideals and beliefs

Milei became president Dec. 10 2023.

On 18 December 2021, Javier Milei promoted Coinx World on his Instagram account after touring their offices in Buenos Aires. “I had the pleasure of visiting Coinx's offices and meeting their team. They are revolutionizing the way people invest to help Argentines escape inflation...."

In 2023, Coinx World was shut down by regulators after a criminal investigation for allegedly operating as a Ponzi scheme. Police raids were conducted on its offices in Buenos Aires and Santa Fe with four employees, including its CEO, being arrested. Investors, the majority of whom followed Javier Milei on social media, sued him for losses estimated between AR$30,000,000 and AR$40,000,000 (approximately US$300,000 at the time).

yep, that tracks
