NCAA 2025 March Madness Squares Pool
$25 March Madness Squares Pool is back for the 3rd year! The last 2 years seemed to be a success, so i intend to build
Games are underway! I'll try to do a game-by-game update, but I'll at least update nightly. Good luck everyone!!
Did I win yet?
In what was not exactly a friendly game, my first non 2+2 friend to join this pool gets the first square win, as Creighton wins 89-75 over Louisville.
Purdue beats High Point like a stepchild, 75-63, leading to a win for Red's FIL (RED_FIL)!
Wisconsin wins 85-66 over Montana. Montana is known as the Big Sky state, and Purple_Sky gets the square win!
RIP Griz :-(
Houston, we have a problem! Actually, Houston blows out SIU Edwardsville 78-40, and mattew88 has no problem getting his first square win!
Auburn over Alabama St 83-63. A solid win by Auburn equals a square win for a solid dude, ec_outlaw!
We have the first upset of the tournament as McNeese St holds on to beat Clemson 69-67.
I am sure D Bids isn't upset to hit this square, however!
BYU wins over VCU, 80-71. Nothing surprising there. Also not a surprise - I hit a square with this score!
Gonzaga over Georgia, 89-68. This is the first square win for RED_ROD.
Tennessee uses good mojo to beat Wofford, 77-62. This results in a square win for Mojo56!
Son of a bitch. All day, I thought I had 9-5 for the Creighton win. Turns out I have 5-9.
Nonetheless, Pups win, whoever has 7-7 got that one.

Unreal.
Fun bad beat in yesterday's final game: a guy from Texas Tech missed an uncontested layup with a second left that would've won me the square. Speculation is he missed on purpose to get his own rebound and complete a triple double, but they didn't count it anyway because the rebound happened after buzzer. Finished with a 14-10-9 stat line.
Missed ft fml
Baylor 75, Mississippi st 72 - not many swings in this game, which ended with a square win for AquaSwing!
Alabama 90, Robert Morris 81 - Robert Morris put up an exciting challenge, and I won an exciting 3rd square, all on the same 0,1 combo so far.
