This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Went on a date in Vegas with one. She was probably 50ish. Skinny. Wouldn't have expected her to be one of the best tipped but she was fast and good so that also helps.
She had a very nice sports car she said she paid cash for. All from tips in one year.

I dated 17 of them in 6 months. He is 100% right.
FYI. Doing some pube shaving in my bathroom at Bellagio right now. Just gonna leave it there. Mark my territory in case Rice has my room after me.
Total alpha move but most likely in vain. I don't think the Bellagio comps poker nit promo grinders. Save your pubes for the Excalibur next time.
Yeah looks like he's really struggling financially. Lol @ anyone who falls for his BS "woe is me" routine.
Pure risk reduction. If/when the hammer comes down on card rooms across Texas it’ll be ugly for these dudes.
Build up the lodge, sell off enough equity to most/all your money out and PRINT.
Sure it does if you're dealing 45 hands an hour. Besides, what's cutting going to do that the shuffler didn't already do? If anything, it protects the integrity of the deck. Nobody is going to peek at the bottom card.
Not sure what this refers to - did you mean to post it in a different thread?
Never mind - found the reference on the prior page.

The shuffler can set the cards in order on the deckmate 2s. it's insane to not have the dealer cut the deck. what's next no burn cards to save more time as well?
One of the regs at the Borgata has a cocktail waitress wife. I asked him what was the largest tip she's ever gotten and he answered "$5K. On two separate occasions"
I'm 99 percent sure who you're talking about. It's possible this happened but I'd take anything him or his wife say with a grain of salt especially when it comes to money. They both love to talk themselves up a lot. Meanwhile he doesn't even play anymore bc he went broke.

Agreed, it's insanity. I'm all for efficiency and speed, but we are talking about saving 2 seconds per hand, at the possible cost of game integrity.

While I don't disagree with you, cutting the deck is effectively worthless. If the deck is sorted, all you need to do is look at the first card you are dealt, and you will know the entire order of the deck. I have even seen an app created and connected to the Deckmate to do just that. You can also sort the deck so that no matter where the cut is, a specific position will always win no m....
Considering there are over 80 unvigintillion, or 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,440,883,277,824,000,000,000,000 ways to order a deck, how many deck combinations exist where this is possible? Millions? Billions? Casinos should be adding a quick riffle after removing the deck from the shuffler, but the casinos don't want to acknowledge the security flaws in their machine.
Security researchers got their hands on the Deckmate 2 and realized this machine is really quite easy to compromise, and is not up to standards in a casino environment. It would take one of those black hat guys about 5 seconds to gain control of one of these machines. Simply insert a Rubber Ducky into the exposed USB port underneath the table for a couple seconds, and you now have permanent control of the machine, even after removing the USB.
We really should all be advocating for a quick riffle after the deck is removed to remove all possibility of this happening. We have already had shuffler scandals in Texas. If you read the white paper, you will realize just how easy this machine is to gain access to, and remain undetected.
ELD publishes another edition of the the longstanding miserable mean comments which apparently is an unlimited source of commends and those without Diamond tier earned with no money should be unable to comment on ELD's nomadic method.
ELD also reports he is not scared of the dealer who demanded ELD's phone number. and stalked ELD. Clearly, those who want ELD's phone number should follow the Kansas method and proclaim ELD is the reincarnation of Trooper. That and compliment on ELD's calves.

Couldn't get past the first minute. This series is played out. Rice's vlog is played out. Good luck to him.

Surely having the cut is still at least one layer of game protection, among many. Of course the deck can still be rigged, but why make it even easier for them.
It's like stores with security guards and CCTV cameras. They are layers of protection against shoplifting. Sure a motivated and experienced shoplifter can still find ways around it, but it's better than nothing. All other things being equal, it will have a preventative effect.
People have been speculating on If/when the hammer comes down on Texas card rooms for about a decade now.
Them getting a few points in the business for playing there a few times a year is a lot more likely than they put up cash to buy a piece. But Rampage's woe is me videos claiming he is buying in a poker game for 100% of his bank account being true is also about close to zero percent I'd guess. He will be there in a few years when his popularity fades but not now.

True, but a couple rooms near San Antonio or some other major Texas city got busted in the last year or so. Remember seeing it on PokerNews.
It’s all in a grey enough area that if you get the wrong officer/sheriff/whatever some stuff will go down.

So the cardroom, which just prints money like crazy, is going to risk their license and prison time to set up Seat 3, who they have no idea who it's going to be?

So is that why people are crawling under the table all the time?
