Edit/MH:

I don't know. Is this normal? I'm a winning player on BetOnline and Bovada and I started playing on ACR a couple of months ago. I absolutely cannot win any all-ins on the bubble of tournaments when the blinds get ridiculously high on there. And we are talking PLO8 here. I am getting scooped -- not even splitting pots with premium hands -- every time. This week, according to my Sharkscope hand history log, I got scooped on 14 of 15 all-ins, and each time, with one or two exceptions, I went all-in with at least 34% equity.
I love the software and the amount of PLO8 traffic and tournaments on ACR is, by far, the best of any of the three sites, but something is not right here (and I understand variance and I am not one to, automatically, play the "rigged" card, but...). Are there any other sites available for US players that anyone can recommend? Something more legit than this one. Anyone else, especially from the US, experience the same thing as me and win on other sites, but not here. It has absolutely killed my confidence.

Decided to play one more tournament on ACR after I posted the previous post. I am comfortably in 8th place out of 16 and just have to wait out 2 people to be in the money. I am trying to train myself to not settle for just cashing, but to play to win. Villain (who, you can tell by his stats is a "maniac") raises pot from utg. I call. Pretty good flop for me considering the garbage he might have. I am in the BB and am first to act after the flop. I get it all in because I know that is what he is going to do if I check.
Of course he is drawing to a king-high flush when I have a queen-high flush draw. But it doesn't matter, because a perfect "3" hits on the turn giving him a wheel and nut-nut. Couldn't be a 2, right?
This is the crap and the setups I get all the time at the end of tournaments on this site. BTW, I had 60% equity when I got it in, according to sharkscope. Thanks for listening.
jfc you've lost a hand even though you were 60% favorite
I have never seen anything so brutal before
Its definitely rigged!!!!
@RI_Tony:
Could u show the graph in big blinds?

Thanks for the snarkiness. This is why I've been playing online since 2006 and known about this forum since about then. It is snarkiness like that why I have never posted here and why I abhor social media, but I just recently returned to online poker about six months ago after having been forced, like everyone else, to quit playing on Black Friday almost fifteen years ago. I know I am late to the party and I am trying to understand the new online poker landscape and figure out if these sites are on the up and up. That's why I posted.
I posted that last hand because it was 3 a.m. by that time and I had just wasted another two hours just to bubble. It also represented about the 15th time out of the last 16 all-ins that I had been scooped, usually close to the money. The runout on that hand was representative of the setups I have been seeing consistently. I don't mind losing, but I hate it when I feel I am being set up and being robbed.
I just found it amusing that this scenario played out again the very next tournament I played after I had posted here. I understand variance and that 60% is a small edge, but in PLO8 60% is like 80% in hold 'em. And I know that even 60 or 80% doesn't mean you deserve to win the hand, but 60 or 80% also doesn't mean 6% (1 of 16), even with that small of a sample size. If you flipped a coin 15 times and it came up heads 14 times, I think anyone would be suspicious they are being conned.
Thanks again for nothing.

I figured someone would ask that. Thanks for being respectful of my post and showing sincere interest. This graph (showing BBs as opposed to chips) might not seem as bad, but the issue is the all-ins I've been losing have, mostly, come at the end of tournaments when the blinds are obscenely high (I hate the ACR blind structures).
So if I win a 10 BB allin when the blinds are 10/20 that is only 200 chips, but if I lose a 5 BB allin when the blinds are 200/400, that is 2000 chips. So the graph may look good and show I am +5 BBs, but the other graph would show -1800 chips. I think it matters when the all-ins happen. I doubt sites would be able to manipulate that, but I also have no clue how they program slot machines to tease players the way they do.
I guess what I am getting at is if that chart is normal? I am also wondering if my +EV line (decision making) -- ignoring the actual results -- is pretty good or fairly normal? The bigger question is is ACR legit? I don't ever remember hearing about this Phil Nagy guy, but I guess he is the CEO or whatever, and he doesn't inspire much confidence or trustworthiness in me. Doesn't help I am reading Ben Mezrich's book, Straight Flush,, about the rise and fall of the Absolute Poker founders.
Getting back to the charts -- There are few fluctuations and just two lines going, directly, in separate directions. The better decisions I make, the worse the result. People might say it is a small sample size in terms of hands played, but this is over the span of a month. I am not nearly as high of a volume player as others. I don't know -- does variance adjust itself as a result of hands played or time elapsed? Sorry for the long post and thanks for reading.
On ACR, is there a setting or a way to turn off the player notes box from automatically popping up when you pass the cursor over a player's screen name/avatar? It tends to just stay there and distracts me when I am multi-tabling. Then when I go to try to get rid of it by moving the cursor around, another player's notes will pop up. So annoying. It's like playing whac-a-mole to try to keep the screen uncluttered.
new update starting in a few hours.
they had another one last Wednesday.
maybe I'm wrong but I've never seen an update on Tuesday. the update day is usually Wednesday or Thursday
Why do they make their lobbies so big? The smallest I can make it still takes up my entire screen. Although I use two monitors, a lot of times, when I add another table, the new table goes somewhere off both screens and I can't find them or retrieve them without tiling the tables (and even then, sometimes it doesn't work and I have to log out and log back in). So tilting, at times.
Can anyone tell me how to join the waiting list on full tables on ACR please!!!
we appear to be frozen -- tournaments, anyway
I am in an MTT and heads up in a SnG -- the SnG is giving us one hand every 60 seconds or so, the MTT has been frozen for 5-10 minutes -- other MTTs are frozen, too. The rest of my internet is fine.
site seems laggy just posting to check
For me the waitlist stopped working at the last update. Now I click Join Waitlist and nothing happens.
I was having this problem, assumed for days that it was their software but I hadn't specified if I wanted ante or no ante tables (the last drop down on the wait list options), once i did that i could join fine. I assume this is your issue.
Now.. of course that doesnt mean the waitlist system actually works - I'm often on the waitlist then check the lobby and multiple tables have seats available but it never offered me one lol
Down for me as well
Glad im not the only one, down for me
hope they actually do something instead of just leaving the mtts to be like this, ridic
can't say I've ever before reached the 325/650 (65) level of a 6m hyper SnG with 3000 total chips
MTTS down for me as well, what do they usually do in these scenarios?
Site is down for me as well. Was in the middle of a session & all of my tables froze. The last 30 min or so keep getting the same, "your connection has been interrupted. Please contact customer support" message every time I logged in.
